Oreo and Creme Egg have launched a new limited-edition cookie as two icons of chocolate combine – and there’s even a ring
It’s the ultimate mash-up inspired by two snack icons – and this “nepo cookie” really does take the biscuit. Oreo and Creme Egg have launched a new limited-edition cookie, combining a cocoa sandwich biscuit and classic vanilla creme with a golden fondant.
To celebrate Oreo has also dropped a limited-edition 18k gold vermeil ring stamped with the brand’s unmistakable logo. The tongue-in-cheek family heirloom comes with complimentary deliveries of the new flavour cookie and also doubles as a wax seal stamp if you want to make your mark as one of the snack-obsessed elite.
The ring took more than 30 hours to whip up by London jeweller Rosie Greener, founder of cult brand Good Daze. Oreo and Creme Egg’s bouncing latest arrival comes as new research shows Gen Z are huge fans of nepo baby chic with 64% following their fashion, 60% copying their style and 53% saying they’re the modern-day role models they look up to most.
Nikita Yadav, from Oreo, said, “We know that fans will love our Oreo Creme Egg cookie with the same energy they have for their celebrity nepo baby idols.
“Born from two icons, the new cookie deserves its place as a leader in style and influence, so it’s only fitting that we launch our Oreo Cookie Crest jewellery collaboration with Good Daze.
“Rosie’s jewellery is playful, yet chic, just like the whole Oreo family, so we’re hyped for the collab to drop. Watch this space.”
Rosie added: “I have always adored both of these iconic snacks, so when the Oreo Cookie team got in touch to immortalise this dream combination with a signature jewellery piece, of course I was going to say yes!”
The Oreo Cookie Crest Ring will be available exclusively via competition through the @OREOUKI Instagram page on February 23. Oreo Creme Egg flavour cookies are available in all major UK supermarkets for a limited time only.
