Vasco de Rio Branco competes in the Campeonato Acreano, the top tier of football in Acre state. The side will be without Erick Serpa, who were arrested last week after being implicated in a rape allegation.

He plans to launch his political career by standing for city councillor in his hometown of Ribeirão das Neves. He said he has received invitations from several parties but has yet to decide which to join, as reported by NeedToKnow.
