Brit’s refuse to share opinion of Prince Andrew on his belated birthday card
The Daily Star have decided to get the former prince, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, a belated birthday card. Surprisingly not a single Brit wanted to sign it
Despite Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor currently drowning in scandal, the Daily Star hasn’t forgotten that yesterday was the former prince’s 66th birthday.
Andy’s big day might have been ruined by his arrest by Thames Valley Police, Your Daily Star has been sure to give the man mired controversy a little special attention.
While many people would gag at the thought of getting Mr Mountbatten-Windsor any sort of gift, we decided to grab the disgraced royal a belated birthday present. For the former Prince’s birthday we decided to give the public an opportunity to sign a custom made card so they could deliver their very own personalised birthday message to Andy.
After an hour of offering Brits outside of Buckingham Palace, London, an opportunity to pen a personalised message to the former the prince, we hit a bit of a wall. For reasons unbeknownst to us, not a single Brit wanted to sign the birthday card or give Andrew any type of attention.
While a few tourists scribbled down odd doodles poking fun at Andy’s connection to convicted sex offender Jeffery Epstein – Brits wanted nothing to do with Andrew. Every Brit we approached refused to sign the card or leave any message at all.
After pleading with Brits to pen some words for the royal we attempted to hand the birthday present through the gates of Buckingham Palace so a guard could pass on our gift to the birthday boy. But like the rest of the public they didn’t want anything to do with Prince Andrew’s birthday present either.
The Daily Star previously reported on a royal source claiming Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie were “in a state” after their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was grabbed on his 66th birthday. Insiders have also claimed the bombshell will be “catastrophic” for the sisters and their mother, Sarah Ferguson.
One of the princesses is believed to be with mum Fergie, but the Duchess herself is reportedly keeping a low profile. She is allegedly hiding out either in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) or with her sister in Australia. Moreover, a source told The Telegraph that the “curse” of Epstein has struck again, but Fergie is “doing her best to put a brave face on”.
Andrew’s ex-wife, 66, reportedly fled the country shortly after he was forced out of Royal Lodge. She has yet to respond to the release of emails in the Epstein files suggesting she repeatedly asked the disgraced financier for cash.
