‘Adventure’ awaits as Disney On Ice returns to UK arenas with ‘Olympic-quality’ dances
Disney’s latest family entertainment spectacular features Anna, Elsa, Moana and Rapunzel with tickets now on sale for the February and March 2026 tour
Disney On Ice has remained a treasured half-term tradition for families nationwide – and this year proves no different. The entertainment giant makes its comeback with the newest show, Into The Magic, set to debut in mere days.
With the Winter Olympic Games commanding worldwide focus, the timing couldn’t be more perfect to witness Disney’s mesmerising ice spectacular. During the forthcoming arena tour, spectators can anticipate watching ‘princesses glide, oceans shimmer and castles rise from frozen floors’ in a stunning showcase of skating artistry and narrative magic.
Cherished characters will command the spotlight, featuring sisters Anna and Elsa from Frozen, accompanied by everyone’s beloved snowman, Olaf. Enthusiasts can also anticipate Moana as she navigates across the ice, whilst Rapunzel and Flynn Rider deliver their tale of adventure and romance to venues across the nation throughout February and March.

The tour kicks off on 26 February at Liverpool’s M&S Bank Arena before moving on to Leeds, Cardiff, Glasgow and London, reports the Express. Complete venue information and dates are listed below.
At every stop, Disney On Ice spectators will witness ‘Olympic-style ice precision’ combined with ‘lightning-fast costume changes’, all interwoven with Disney’s signature storytelling magic. Substantial effort has gone into adapting Disney On Ice for the skating venues themselves, according to lighting assistant electrician Brandon Dupree, reports the Mirror.

Disney fans will see ‘princesses glide, oceans shimmer and castles rise from frozen floors.’
“A brilliant, white ice surface is always a challenge,” they explained. “We have to balance visibility, colour and mood without washing out the visuals.”
Meanwhile, head of wardrobe Jenine Vanderhoof discloses that one costume transformation in Disney On Ice occurs in merely 31 seconds: “Many costumes are more technical than they appear, featuring hidden stretch panels, reinforced seams and custom closures designed specifically for skating.
“One example is Moana’s adventure costume in the show – it appears layered and textural to reflect the film’s island aesthetic, but beneath that organic look are stretch gussets and performance-grade fabrics that allow her to execute powerful skating choreography.”
Tickets for Into The Magic are still available on the official website here and via Ticketmaster.
For comparable half-term activities, there are always theatre productions based on Disney’s most cherished films. Hercules is the latest screen-to-stage adaptation from Disney, and tickets are now available. Alternatively, The Lion King has remained a fixture on stages across the globe for decades.
