Sheffield faculty incident as ‘two lecturers in hospital’ as police swarm

Major police activity can be seen at a Sheffield school as reports claim two teachers have been taken to hospital following an incident.

South Yorkshire Police have been seen at Fir Vale Academy, on Owen Lane, since before 1.20pm today (February 26) with parents now gathered outside claiming two teachers from the school are now in hospital. The details of the incident are not yet known, reports YorkshireLive.

Local Facebook page Sheffield Online first reported the incident and shared an image of a South Yorkshire Police in the street.

The page claimed the “situation appears to be contained” but warned of temporary traffic disruption in the surrounding roads.
