Wayne Rooney was snapped looking worse for wear at a pre-Brits awards bash on Saturday evening.
Photos obtained by The Sun and seen by Daily Star Sport show the Manchester United icon drinking with a pair of mystery women. According to The Sun, Rooney was at the posh Manchester hotel with pop star Calum Scott and a group of male friends.
The publication reports that Rooney began chatting with two women, one of whom was with her boyfriend. One onlooker told the outlet that Rooney was looking “worse for wear” in the early hours of the morning after he came out of a toilet and fumbled with his trousers.

They told The Sun: “At one moment, they almost dropped to the floor but he managed to save them.”
Rooney is said to have spent almost two hours chatting with the women, with one onlooker saying: “He seemed like he was having a laugh and joking around with the women.”
The ex-United star exited the hotel just after 3am and left on his own.
“He later left alone. He stood outside where there were quite a few people gathered and got into a car,” a source said.

“Around eight minutes later, a taxi came and picked the woman up. People in the queue recognised it was him and were saying he didn’t seem to be in a great place.”
Rooney had been at a pre-Brits party with fellow stars including I’m A Celebrity’s Shona McGarty and rapper Aitch. Shona shared a snap of the event on Instagram, adding the caption: “Just a little pre Brits party.”
Shona had appeared on the 2024 version of the hit ITV show, where she starred alongside Aitch and Rooney’s wife Coleen.
Rooney and Coleen have been married since 2008 and have four sons Kai, 16, Klay, 12, Kit 10, and eight-year-old Cass.
The footballer has been embroiled in several high-profile alleged cheating scandals. And he hit national headlines when it was claimed he visited three sex workers as a teenager.
Speaking in a 2023 Amazon Prime documentary on her husband’s life and football career, Coleen opened up about the claims.
She said: “When you’re making those decisions you’ve got to focus on what you want and not other people because you have so many people saying different things to you. ‘Oh why is she getting back with him?’
“Obviously I listen to the people that matter to me, my mum and dad always give me a positive outlook on things.
“There’s nothing that we can’t deal with and that’s my way in a situation – let’s sit down and see what we can do and can we make it work? And we have. We’re not the lovey-dovey type anyway, we like to have a laugh and we work well together.”
