Nigel Farage is set to host a press conference alongside the Reform London Mayoral candidate, Laila Cunningham.
The Reform UK leader has promised a “major announcement”, just one day on from being ridiculed over failing to show up for the Spring Statement.
Referring to a flurry of defections from the Tory ranks to Mr Farage’s right-wing party, the Chancellor said: “If you import failed Tory politicians you get failed Tory policies”.
It comes after new polling suggested more than half of Reform UK members think non-white British citizens born abroad should be forcibly removed or encouraged to leave – compared to 24% if the citizens are white.
