Miss BumBum star offers husband menstrual blood necklace after op to ‘turn out to be virgin once more’

Former Miss BumBum Andressa Urach said she created the necklace as a “symbol of fertility, renewal and devotion” to mark the start of married life with husband Flavio Giglioli

An adult star has disclosed that she presented her new husband with a necklace containing a drop of her own menstrual blood as a symbol of their fresh start, following surgery to “become a virgin again” prior to their nuptials.

Ex-Miss BumBum Andressa Urach, 38, bestowed the unconventional gift upon music entrepreneur Flavio Giglioli, 26, after their private wedding ceremony last month. Residing in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Andressa explained that she crafted the necklace as a “symbol of fertility, renewal and devotion” to commemorate the commencement of their shared life.

She elaborated that the concept came about whilst she was planning for the wedding, wanting to offer her husband something of personal significance rather than a traditional present.

Andressa stated: “I wanted to give something that had real significance. Menstrual blood represents cycle, renewal and the possibility of generating life. For me it made sense to transform that into a symbol of our beginning.”

She mentioned that she researched methods to safely encase a drop of the blood, transforming it into a lasting piece of jewellery. According to Andressa, the necklace was privately handed over to Flavio post-ceremony.

She revealed that her husband was initially taken aback by the gift, until she clarified its symbolism. Andressa said: “He was impacted at first because it’s not a traditional gift. After I explained what it represented, he understood. For us it became a symbol of fertility and devotion.”

The influencer revealed the marriage signals a fresh chapter in her life following years in the public spotlight, and that the initial weeks of wedded bliss have been peaceful as the pair settle in.

She explained: “I wanted to mark this beginning with something unique, something that represented our decision.”

Andressa noted the necklace now acts as a memento of their union’s start and the pledge they exchanged.

She added: “It was my way of symbolising this new chapter.”

Andressa had previously disclosed that she quietly wed Flavio in an intimate ceremony shielded from public scrutiny.

Prior to the wedding, she revealed she’d undergone a private harmonisation treatment she characterised as a means to “become a virgin again” as a symbolic fresh start before embarking on married life.

She emphasised the choice was deeply personal and designed to commemorate the dawn of a new phase in her life.
