Nathan Cleary is left in disbelief as his kitchen is DESTROYED

  • Panthers halfback shared the vision in an Instagram story

Footy superstar Nathan Cleary has been left in disbelief after the kitchen at his luxury Sydney home was destroyed.

It appears the large metal range hood over his stove crashed through the ceiling on Wednesday, with the four-time premiership winner facing a hefty clean-up bill.

Cleary, 28, posted the scenes in an Instagram story, with his kitchen in complete disarray.

The playmaker saw the funny side of the situation, sarcastically posting ‘beauty’ with a thumbs-up before asking, ‘Anyone got a magician that can fix my roof?’

In 2023, Cleary became the proud owner of the stunning $1.7million riverside home in Sydney’s west, located on the Nepean River.

After picking up the keys, Cleary took to social media to share the design for his bathroom, which was initially posted by Sydney design studio Alicia Xiberras Interiors.

‘Introducing our bathroom design for our Penrith local legend Nathan Cleary,’ wrote the studio.

‘Designing Nathan’s bathroom was a great experience, as his brief was out of the ordinary.

‘The bathroom is the definition of urban masculine style, with a luxury look.

‘To achieve this, the AXI team created a contrasting colour palette with a mix of refined and unique shapes to help bring Nathan’s vision to life.’

The design studio also shared a video clip inside Cleary’s home, where the footy star expresses his interest in modern design.

The house sits in a leafy environment with both indoor and outdoor entertaining areas, as well as a pool.

It also happens to be a short drive from Penrith’s NRL training base.

Meanwhile, Cleary is tipped to be in the stands on Thursday night watching his girlfriend Mary Fowler when the Matildas tackle Iran in the Asian Cup on the Gold Coast.

Fowler and her teammates will back up on Sunday, March 8 in Sydney when they line up against South Korea at Sydney Olympic Park.

The Matildas last won the Asian Cup in 2010.
