‘I began fats jabs however my spouse likes chunky males – individuals say she’ll depart me’
George Keywood has started using weight loss injections after reaching his heaviest weight at 27 stone, but people have said his health transformation will make his wife leave him
Your health should always be at the top of your list of priorities. If you needed to alter your lifestyle to enhance your health and prolong your life, you would expect your partner to back you on that journey, regardless of what physical changes it might bring about in your body.
However, a man who recently began weight loss injections to help him slim down after reaching an astonishing 27 stone has sparked concern among his social media followers that his health improvements could result in him becoming single – because his wife has previously confessed that she “likes chunky men”.
George Keywood, known for his role as Craig in the acclaimed series People Just Do Nothing, has gained popularity as a social media sensation alongside his wife, Sienna Keywood, since his stint on the BBC Three sitcom.
The pair have previously been targeted by trolls due to their size difference, with Sienna being slim whilst George is overweight, tipping the scales at 27 stone at his heaviest. However, they’ve previously clapped back at trolls, with George asserting that Sienna has “always liked fat boys” even before they started dating.
George once quipped: “Unlucky for all you skinny boys, you’ve got no chance.”
To which Sienna added: “I like them chunky.”
But in a desperate attempt to preserve his health for the sake of their son, Oliver, George has now begun Mounjaro injections. Mounjaro is a self-administered medication containing tirzepatide, which functions by copying the hormones GLP-1 and GIP, which curb the appetite, delay stomach emptying, and make you feel satisfied for longer periods.
However, some supporters of the couple are concerned that by shedding weight, George will no longer be the “chunky” type of bloke that Sienna fancies. One person wrote on one of their recent videos: “Aren’t you worried that if you lose too much weight that Sienna will lose interest? She likes them big, you know.”
Standing together, though, the pair said they would not be parting ways. Sienna maintained she adores her husband regardless of his appearance, and said their marriage is “still going strong”.
Speaking over footage of George displaying his trimmer figure and jesting that he’s developing a six-pack, Sienna said: “I don’t mind. I like George in all forms. I think he looks great. Don’t worry, [our] marriage is still going strong.”
Meanwhile, George previously revealed that, despite facing abuse for being overweight, he’s encountered far more hostility since improving his health.
He said: “I used to get called fat and disgusting, now people say I’ve cheated and that I should’ve just gone to the gym like a ‘real man’. You literally cannot win. But I’m not doing this for them. I’m doing this to stay alive, to be around for my son.”
How to manage your weight safely
If you’re living with obesity, your GP can provide guidance about enhancing your lifestyle and shedding and maintaining your weight safely. Stringent criteria must be satisfied before receiving prescribed medication like Mounjaro on the NHS, though alternative methods exist for safe weight reduction.
No universal dieting principle exists that suits everyone, however, to shed weight at a secure and maintainable pace of 0.5 to 1kg weekly, most individuals should cut their daily consumption by 600 calories.
You should ensure you’re consuming a nutritious and balanced diet, which ought to consist of:
- Plenty of fruit and vegetables
- Meals based on potatoes, bread, rice, pasta, and other starchy foods (ideally you should choose high fibre and wholegrain varieties)
- Some milk and dairy foods or dairy alternatives
- Some meat, fish, eggs, beans and other non-dairy sources of protein
- Just small amounts of food and drinks that are high in fat and sugar
Even whilst taking medications like Mounjaro, the food you consume should still fall within these categories to guarantee your diet remains healthy and you’re obtaining the vitamins your body requires.
