Moment lazy DPD supply man hurls parcel up two flooring of flats onto balcony to avoid wasting his legs
This is the moment a lazy DPD driver hurled a parcel onto a balcony two floors up instead of walking up the stairs.
Footage shows the driver launching the small parcel over the second-floor balcony before it hits the door of the recipient.
A passerby who captured the incident in Harlow, Essex, claims the driver had already tried and failed to throw the parcel once before she started filming.
She said: ‘I was dropping a friend off and the delivery driver was delivering parcels.
‘All of a sudden he tried to throw it up to the top balcony but missed, so after seeing him do that I went to film it.
‘That time he got it up – their parcel is definitely broken!
‘He put his thumbs up to children nearby after he threw the parcel, I think he was waving to them.’
The footage is just the latest ‘audacious’ parcel delivery that has been caught on camera by disgruntled customers.
In one video filmed in south London in January last year, a DPD driver can be seen walking up to a closed gate, before flinging a package over the top.

Then in order to capture the delivery in action, the driver quickly snapped a picture of the parcel in mid-air before it crashed to the ground.
James, who was due to receive the parcel, told the Daily Mail: ‘I was at work and got a notification saying someone was at the door, and I went to go and check what it was.
‘The first notification was the person trying to deliver it and then there was a snapshot of him coming back a second time.
‘I saw him walk up, throw the parcel. At first, I was really annoyed about it. The sheer audacity of it caught me off guard.’
He added: ‘It’s just such a silly thing to do!
‘He rung the ring doorbell the first time.
‘He was aware there was a camera and would get caught and recorded.
‘It was pretty brave.
‘I was initially annoyed, but now find it quite funny.’

A DPD driver was caught on camera pretending to deliver an iPhone
Meanwhile in another incident, one deliver driver pretended to deliver a £1,200 iPhone before pocketing it for himself.
Samuel Taylor had ordered an iPhone 17 Pro Max from Giffgaff for £1,264 to his home in Rochdale, Manchester, and was at work when the delivery van arrived.
The 20-year-old claims he received a photo from DPD of the package being posted through his letterbox along with confirmation of the delivery.
But when he returned home, he was stunned to learn from his father that nothing had come through the door.
He promptly checked their home security footage, which clearly captured the driver’s actions.
The DPD man can be seen selecting the parcel from the boot of the van and walking over to Samuel’s front door.
Moments later, he strolls back down the drive with the parcel apparently still in his hand – despite having taken a photo with it half inside the letterbox.
DPD later confirmed the driver had been ‘removed from the business’ and apologised ‘whole-heartedly’ to Samuel.
The Daily Mail has contacted DPD for comment.
