Police have today pictured the pensioner who died more than a week after he was knocked over by a van in Hackney.
Officers were called to reports of a collision between a vehicle and a pedestrian on the junction of Alkham Road and Cazenove Road in Upper Clapton at 3.46pm on February 12.
The pedestrian, who has since been named as 94-year-old Ismail Bham, was taken to hospital but sadly died from his injuries on February 23.
The driver of the van stopped at the scene.
The Met said Mr Bham’s family are being supported by specially trained officers.
So far, no arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
Detective Sergeant Ed Rulton, of the Met’s Serious Collisions Investigation Unit, said: ‘Our thoughts remain with Ismail’s family and friends at this extremely difficult time.
‘As we try to build up a full picture of the incident, we are appealing to speak to anyone who may have witnessed it – particularly if they have CCTV or dashcam footage.’
