Triple serial killer Reginald Arthurell has reportedly moved in with an elderly woman and two teenage children in Sydney‘s west while under the watch of authorities.

Arthurell, who now identifies as Regina after transitioning in 2020 upon her release, served almost 24 years behind bars for bludgeoning their fiancée, Venet Mulhall, to death in 1996.

They were on parole at the time, after killing their stepfather with a carving knife in the 1970s and a teenage sailor in the 1980s.

Now, a Sydney woman named Tina (not her real name) has revealed her mother unknowingly allowed Arthurell to move into her home after they met at Westmead Hospital.

It’s believed the woman, who is in her mid‑60s, used to work at the hospital when Arthurell came in seeking medical treatment.

‘A text message came from one of my siblings and it said, “Please do a Google search on this person,” and all this information came up,’ Tina told 2GB on Monday.

‘It started sounding alarm bells from the information that I’d heard in conversation with my mother to say that Reginald was now identifying as a woman.’

After learning about Arthurell’s crimes, Tina said she tried to question her mother about why she had allowed the killer to move in with her, however, she was dismissed as ‘this person has changed.’

‘I don’t know what Reginald has disclosed, I don’t know what balances and checks have been done in regards to NSW authorities allowing this person to reside with my mother,’ Tina said.

‘If this person is supposed to be under community correction orders where they’re supposed to be supervised within the community, what are the details of those orders and who is making sure those orders are being followed?’

After learning Arthurell may be brainwashing her mother into also handing over her superannuation funds, Tina now holds grave concerns about the safety of her mother and the children in the home, and would like authorities to help move Arthurell out.

She is also concerned about community safety after noting the house is within 100 metres of two public schools.

Tina said she has been in contact with NSW Police and NSW Corrective Services about her concerns but feels nothing has been done.

When contacted by the Daily Mail, a spokesperson for NSW Police said: ‘The living situation is not a police matter and not for police to confirm/comment on.’

The Daily Mail has also contacted NSW Corrective Services for comment.

It comes five years after Arthurell, now believed to be in their late 70s, was forced to move out of a Yagoona retirement home after local community members learned of her real identity.

Canterbury Bankstown Mayor Khal Asfour said he didn’t want Arthurell living in his city, describing the killer as a ‘grub’.

‘Not welcome in my city,’ Asfour said.

‘I am outraged that convicted serial killer Regina Kaye, formerly known as Reginald Kenneth Arthurell has been allowed to live in our city under a cloud of secrecy.’

Arthurell was arrested in January 2022 on sex crime allegations after they were accused of sexually touching a 55-year-old man.
