Inside RFK Jr’s ‘cult-like’ internal circle the place ladies fell beneath his ‘religious spell’ and mentioned they’d DIE for him… as aides reveal magic phrases he makes use of to ‘pierce your soul’

Robert F Kennedy Jr ran one of the most unique presidential campaigns in modern American history – and now insiders who lived through it are describing how he cast a ‘bizarre spiritual spell’ on members of his team.

It is a devotion that would not surprise those who know the Kennedy name, with towering figures from the family known for their power, charisma and womanizing.

Former campaign aides claim that some of RFK Jr’s staffers were so bewitched by the 70–year–old Kennedy family heir that the campaign became a movement worth dying for.

The three insiders, who all worked closely with him during the run, took the Daily Mail inside the operation, from its chaotic beginnings to the moment the now-Health Secretary threw in his lot with Donald Trump.

The first former aide shed light on Kennedy’s magnetic, and sometimes unsettling, effect on women, which provides crucial context to the explosive scandal that later derailed his media coverage.

During the 2024 race, star New York magazine political reporter Olivia Nuzzi was placed on leave after it was revealed she had engaged in an inappropriate digital relationship with the candidate while covering his run.

According to this source, the 33-year-old journalist was far from the only woman mesmerized by Kennedy’s intense charm.

‘I see you. I understand you. You are a special person… these are all things he would say to certain women who worked for him. He really pierces you deep in your soul spiritually,’ the staffer recalled of his tactics. ‘That’s a level of attraction for a lot of women that is way above being hit on by a pervy guy.’

Another former Kennedy campaign employee confirmed that theory, agreeing that it seemed as though RFK Jr enchanted women in his orbit.

‘Yeah… a lot of women were in love with him. You only understood it if you saw how he operated on the inside,’ the second ex-staffer said.

The campaign’s bizarre nature reportedly extended to Kennedy’s unorthodox daily routine as well.

As a high–level staffer, the source was privy to his private schedule and found his unusual habits and rigid routine baffling for a man running for the highest office in the land.

‘I had access to his personal calendar, and he would go for a two–hour hike every morning, and I always thought that was very strange,’ the source noted. ‘He would make sure nobody bothered him – I mean he would go totally off the grid.’

A representative for RFK Jr told the Daily Mail that the hikes were shorter than the insider suggested.

‘He’s taken one hour hikes each day for the 15 years that I’ve known him. And AA [Alcoholics Anonymous] for one additional hour. And the gym. And he takes daily showers, which may seem bizarre to you. He also sleeps 6-7 hours a night. He turns his phone off, which is also bizarre,’ Tony Lyons said in response to our inquiry.

Nuzzi’s first interview with RFK Jr, published in November 2023, took place during one of his hikes. They were accompanied by his dogs during the excursion.

‘In some of their interactions, we later found out, they were hiking together. They would go out in nature. So that was like, “oh… he is off for a good time,”‘ the former staffer explained.

Nuzzi later acknowledged that her communications with Kennedy had turned ‘personal’ starting around December 2023 or early 2024, leading to the ‘digital affair’ that ended with her departure from New York magazine.

Against that backdrop, former aides say the campaign’s internal culture was already unusually intense.

The second staffer described a ‘general paranoia about being watched’ that permeated the team, coupled with an intense, almost religious devotion to the candidate.

‘It was definitely a cult–like atmosphere,’ the source said, explaining that the staff felt like ‘part of the family’.

The intensity reached such a peak that staff discussed the possibility of being killed in the line of duty.

‘We would have conversations where it would be like, well, what if we all died at a campaign event? What if there was a bombing? And the consensus would be like, we would be happy to do it,’ the whistleblower claimed. ‘It would be an honor to die for RFK… This was a movement worth dying for.’

This devotion was paired with a ‘very tinfoil hat’ assumption that the CIA was tracking their every move, the second source said.

There was a significant shift in October 2023 when campaign manager Dennis Kucinich was asked to leave and was replaced by Amaryllis Fox Kennedy, the candidate’s daughter–in–law and a former CIA undercover officer.

This transition preceded a period of intense internal upheaval in early 2024, during which fourteen members of the campaign staff resigned.

These departing staff members and various internal sources characterized the new leadership, specifically Fox Kennedy and communications director Del Bigtree, as appearing to be self–serving people who prioritized their personal career advancement and brand–building over promoting Kennedy.

Among the inner circle was Stefanie Spear, arguably Kennedy’s most trusted long–term aide and the co–founder of his EcoWatch platform, who served as a primary gatekeeper throughout the campaign.

While she followed Kennedy to the Health and Human Services Department, she was sidelined during a leadership overhaul driven by the White House this month following reports of internal friction and a lack of traditional administrative experience.

Media outlets scrutinized the campaign’s recruitment choices, describing the operation as being staffed by a ‘crew of oddballs’ from outside the traditional political sphere.

His staff were reportedly all told to follow strict orders, rules insiders say were often broken, even by RFK Jr himself.

Despite the candidate’s public image as a health advocate and his personal history as a recovering addict, insiders described a ‘rockstar mentality’ behind the scenes.

While the campaign was officially ‘dry’ because ‘you couldn’t drink around Bobby because he was recovering,’ those rules were ignored at times by the staff, our first inside source said.

‘There was a lot of drinking, a lot of drugs, a lot of partying,’ the source revealed, noting that it was ‘not unusual for people to be doing like mushrooms and LSD on a regular basis on a campaign.’

The most startling allegation involved Kennedy’s own behavior. Three staffers the Daily Mail spoke to claim that during a virtual campaign holiday gathering in 2024, the candidate himself appeared to be under the influence.

‘He literally, like, showed up high to our company Christmas party,’ a third insider we spoke to, who attended the Zoom party, alleged. ‘And everyone was just like, ‘Oh, Bobby, he is silly.’

RFK Jr’s publicist said in response to the Daily Mail’s inquiry on this: ‘He’s been sober for 45 years, so this is likely disgruntled fired employees. Or maybe they were just mesmerized. He’s known to give people vertigo.’

RFK Jr’s history with substance abuse began when he was just 15, shortly after the 1968 assassination of his father – a pattern of self-destruction that would reverberate through his family for generations.

His uncle John F. Kennedy had been shot dead five years earlier in 1963. His brother David overdosed on cocaine and prescription drugs in 1984, an addiction that had taken hold at 13 after he watched his father’s assassination.

Another brother, Michael, died on a ski slope in Aspen on New Year’s Eve 1997, months after a babysitter affair scandal destroyed his reputation.

And his cousin JFK Jr. was killed in a 1999 plane crash off Martha’s Vineyard.

Since overcoming addiction, RFK Jr has been known for positive endorsements of psychedelics, with a Substack post by Nuzzi’s former romantic partner, Ryan Lizza, suggesting he admitted to using them.

But even if his personal admissions leaned toward the profane, his political branding reached for the divine.

The campaign reportedly often utilized religious imagery to galvanize its followers. Kennedy reportedly told his team in Philadelphia: ‘I’m Moses and you’re the Israelites… we have to keep going to the Promised Land.’

However, the ‘Promised Land’ was eventually traded for a merger with the Trump campaign.

The first staffer we spoke to expressed skepticism about the spiritual authenticity of the leaders they once served.

‘If I have a look at all the evidence and their behavior and their general demeanor… I don’t think that they really seem like they’ve sought redemption,’ the source confessed.

RFK Jr has been married three times: first to Emily Ruth Black in 1982, then to Mary Richardson in 1994 until their contentious separation and her tragic suicide in 2012.

He is now married to actress Cheryl Hines, whom he wed in 2014.

Throughout his time in the public eye, Kennedy has developed a highly publicized reputation for serial infidelity.

The most glaring evidence of this surfaced in 2013 when a leaked 398–page personal diary from 2001 revealed that he meticulously tracked dozens of extramarital affairs using a numerical code, while frequently writing about his painful, internal struggles to fight off his ‘lust demons.’

The codes corresponded to sexual acts, with 10 meaning intercourse. There are 37 women named – 16 of whom get 10s.

Over time, RFK Jr has been remarkably candid, sometimes by choice, and sometimes because of leaked information about his inability to stay faithful.

The Daily Mail reported exclusively on his current wife Hines’ ‘strict ultimatum’ ordering RFK Jr to move her to DC to be with him ‘forthwith’ – fearing what the notorious womanizer would do if she wasn’t there monitoring his actions.

Well–connected sources have told the Daily Mail that Hines is ‘absolutely still recovering from the emotional shock and pain’ she received last September when her husband of ten years got caught up in a scandalous sexting affair with Nuzzi – a woman half his age – leaving his wife ‘blindsided’ and igniting divorce chatter.

The Daily Mail reached out to Cheryl Hines for comment. Their team declined to respond for the story.
