Triple assassin who moved in with aged carer and two younger kids faraway from house by armed police

Arthurell is believed to have been able to move in to with the pair of children, aged just 12 and 14, after an order which supervised them post prison release reached its expiration date.

A murderer who killed three people before spending decades behind bars for their crimes was the subject of uproar after it was revealed they had moved in with two young children in foster care, along with their elderly carer, at a home in Sydney.

Regina Arthurell is believed to have been able to move in to with the pair of children, aged just 12 and 14, after an order which supervised them post prison release reached its expiration date.

The triple killer is believed to have befriended the elderly carer while the two were in hospital together, before persuading her to let them move in.

Police were only informed of this potentially dangerous arrangement after the carer’s daughter informed them of her concerns regarding her mother and the two children’s well-being.

Local radio host Ben Fordham revealed that the warning pushed police in to sending a team of heavily-armed cops to the home in order to separate the killer from the two children.

Speaking to Fordham, the carer’s mother detailed her concerns at how a dangerous serial killer was able to gain the trust of her mum.

‘I don’t know what Reginald has disclosed, I don’t know what balances and checks have been done in regards to NSW authorities allowing this person to reside with my mother”, she stated.

“If this person is supposed to be under community correction orders where they’re supposed to be supervised within the community, what are the details of those orders and who is making sure those orders are being followed?”, she added.

A police spokesperson reportedly told the Daily Mail that police, including armed officers, attended the home just after 1.30pm on Monday for a ‘Firearms Prohibition Order (FPO) compliance check.’

“No one was home at the time and police gained entry to the property and during a search, nil items were located,” the spokesperson said.

Arthurell, who transitioned from male to female in 2020, spent the best part of two and half decades in the clink for murdering their fiancée in 1996. Arthurell brutally bludgeoned Venet Mulhall to death while already on parole for another crime.

Shockingly, the murder 1996 killing was not Arthurell’s first foray into murder. The Australian had already brutally killed his father with a hunting knife back in the 70s, before murdering a young sailor a decade later.
