Hulk Hogan’s daughter hits out at WWE legend in 10 phrase ‘daddy’ message in new music
Hulk and daughter Brooke had a rocky relationship and she appeared to reference that in her latest song which she has shared a snipper of on social media in which she references her emotions
Hulk Hogan’s daughter has alluded to a rift with her late father in her latest song which includes the lyrics: “Daddy, you lying there made a fool out of me.”
Brooke Hogan’s new single “wanna go back” references her turbulent relationship with the wrestling legend, who died last July aged 71.
In a snippet shared to her social media page, Brooke is heard singing: “I don’t wanna go back because what you did to me.” The next line then heartbreakingly says: “I don’t wanna go back because you were my world and I was your girl, but daddy… come back.”
Brooke, 37, did not attend her father’s funeral and instead spent the day at the beach with her ice hockey star husband and their twin children.
She claimed her dad “hated the morbidity of funerals” and was certain he wouldn’t have wanted a traditional service. And she said that by being by the water made her feel closer to her dad as he loved being at the beach.
Wrestling legend Hogan, real name Terry Bollea, was found dead in his home in Clearwater, Florida. Medics rushed to his home with operators stating it was regarding a “cardiac arrest”.
Hogan bizarrely ranted about his daughter Brooke dating a black man in 2007 when leaked tapes emerged in which he repeatedly used the n-word. He was sacked from the WWE in 2015 when the audio emerged and removed from their Hall of Fame.
He was heard to say: “I mean, I’d rather if she was going to fk some n, I’d rather have her marry an 8-foot-tall n worth a hundred million dollars! Like a basketball player… I guess we’re all a little racist. F***ing N*****.”
Brooke later defend Hogan when the rant made global headlines, saying: “My dad’s best friends with Mr. T, he’s best friends with Dennis Rodman, he’s not racist.”
Before his death, there had been tension between Hogan and Brooke after she disapproved of his final marriage to Sky Daily. Brooke asked to be taken out of his will in 2023 as she “didn’t want to get caught up in a financial battle when he passed”.
She said she wanted to shield her father from individuals she felt “were taking advantage of him” but following years of disputes. After her dad’s death, Brooke posted a lengthy social media statement about their rocky relationship.
She wrote: “It was a series of private phone calls no one will ever hear, know, or understand. My father was confiding in me about issues weighing on his heart, both personal and business.
“I offered to be a life raft in whatever capacity he needed. I told him he had my support. I begged him to rest, to take care of himself.
“He was telling me these things, being so vulnerable with me and heard my pleas, then suddenly something shifted, and he made a choice to walk the path that clearly tore at his spirit.
“I felt a disconnect. What followed were respectful disagreements that took an emotional toll on me.”
