Leonardo DiCaprio’s Oscars dates by means of the years
Even if you’ve been dating Leonardo DiCaprio for a ten year, chances are you won’t get an invite to the Oscars. The Best actor nominee has only taken a handful of girls friends to the Academy awards, often preferring to go with his mum or co-stars. Here’s a look back at Leo’s love life.

Leonardo DiCaprio is set to attend his first Academy Awards ceremony in six years this weekend, but the big question is who will he bring as his date?
The 51-year-old star, up for Best Actor for his role in One Battle After Another, notoriously avoids bringing girlfriends to the Oscars and has a history of skipping ceremonies or attending with family members rather than romantic partners.
In fact to date only Gisele Bündchen (2005) and Camila Morrone (2020) have accompanied him on Hollywood’s big night, and poor Morrone had to walk the red carpet separately.
Leo’s current significant other is Italian model Vittoria Ceretti who have been together since August 2023, and spotted together more recently in Paris and during the 2026 awards season.
She is a high-fashion model from Brescia, Italy, born in 1998 which means she is 27 years-old and we all know what that ripe old age spells for most of Leo’s former squeezes – arrivederci!
DiCaprio has frequently brought his mother, Irmelin Indenbirken, as his date to the Oscars, including early in his career. The smart money would be on mummy attending especially as it’s mother’s day.
The last time Leo attended the Academy awards in 2020 Camila Morrone was his girlfriend, and they made a rare public appearance together. The actress, who is Al Pacino’s stepdaughter, began dating in 2017 when she was 20. Morrone said of the age-gap with DiCaprio: “‘There’s so many relationships in Hollywood—and in the history of the world—where people have large age gaps.” They split in 2022.
At the 2016 Academy Awards, Titanic co-star Kate Winslet supported her “closest friend” DiCaprio, tearing up during his long-awaited Best Actor acceptance speech for The Revenant. The pair walked the red carpet together, showcasing their close, decades-long friendship.
Before then the only significant other to get an Oscars invite was super model Gisele Bündchen back in 2005.
They dated for six years, from 1999 through to 2005, and in her 2018 book Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life she revealed why it came to an end: “Was I alone in wanting to do some serious soul-searching while he stayed the same? In the end, unfortunately, the answer was yes.”
Now a look back at some of Leo’s women who weren’t so lucky and had to watch the Oscars at home on the telly, like the rest of us.
Danish model Nina Agdal was 24 when she dated the Oscar winner in 2016, although things never got ‘serious’.
Longer lasting was Victoria’s Secret model Toni Garrn who dated Leo for 18 months, before splitting in December of 2014 – just ahead of awards season!
Leo can’t resist a model and Brazilian clothes horse Kat Torres was thrilled to be taken to dinner in 2013: “Leo is amazing, but…we have a pact that nothing can ever be said about our relationship.” She’d already said too much!
Don’t tell Ryan Reynolds but Blake Lively and DiCaprio are rumoured to have enjoyed a five-month romance in 2011 and were seen on a yacht together in Cannes.
Sports Illustrated model Bar Rafaeli met Leo at a party in Las Vegas and they had a five-year relationship that ended in May 2011. Afterwards she announced: “Today I’m not afraid of being alone.”
Now 51 years young Leonardo has a decision to make on a night when he’s favourite nab a second Oscars statuette. Who does he want on his arm? And how old will they be!
