Trump Revisits 1 Of His Weirdest Gripes About President Obama

President Donald Trump just resurfaced one of his most trifling complaints about President Barack Obama.

Though currently contending with backlash from his base over war against Iran and bleak midterm forecasts for his party, the president had simpler things on his mind during a rally at a packaging plant in Hebron, Kentucky, on Wednesday.

“The only thing I admired about Barack Hussein Obama, which was nothing actually. But the only thing is the way he was bob down the stairs,” he told the crowd. “You talk about unpresidential. He’s bobbin’… and I couldn’t believe that he made it without at least a noticeable major fall.”

Taking a shot at another Democratic predecessor, Trump added, “But [President Joe] Biden was the opposite, he couldn’t even walk up the stairs. He fell three times.”

This isn’t the first time the embattled Republican has griped about Obama’s staircase style.

President Donald Trump gingerly descended stairs off of Air Force One after landing on March 11 at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland.

Complaining about the Democrat’s springy steps on former FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino’s podcast back in February, Trump said, “It didn’t look elegant at all. I thought it looked so terrible. This is the president of the United States.”

“I kept waiting for him to fall. And he didn’t. So I would rather have other traits than that,” the president went on to add. “You know, those stairs are very slippery. And I used to say, ‘He’s an accident waiting to happen.’”

Seemingly fixated on the topic, the president praised his own prudent gait while speaking at a gathering of top military generals in September.

“I’m very careful … I walk very slowly,” the 79-year-old said. “Nobody has to set a record. Just try not to fall because it doesn’t work out well … Just walk nice and easy. You don’t have to set any record.”
