Man, 27, is charged with raping lady in her 20s in seaside automotive park

A man has been charged with raping a woman in her 20s at a seaside car park. 

Suleman Mukaish, 27, is accused of raping the woman after she informed police of an attack around 8pm on Wednesday at the Lyndhurst Road car park in Worthing, West Sussex.

The woman is being supported by specialist officers from Sussex Police. 

Mukaish, of Worthing, was remanded in police custody and will appear before Crawley Magistrates’ Court on Monday, March 16. 

A spokesman for Sussex Police said they are treating the event as an isolated incident and police are not looking for anybody else.
