Myleene Klass’ stalker learns destiny after star’s ‘horrific yr of sheer terror’

Peter Windsor, 61, was convicted of two counts of stalking causing “serious alarm or distress” to Classic FM presenters Myleene Klass and Katie Breathwick between 2020 and 2024

A man who stalked TV and radio presenter Myleene Klass, as well as her fellow Classic FM presenter, has been given an indefinite hospital order. Peter Windsor, from Mary Road, Stechford, in Birmingham, had pleaded not guilty to two counts of stalking causing “serious alarm or distress” to Ms Klass and Katie Breathwick between 2020 and 2024.

The trial at Birmingham Crown Court heard that Windsor had sent the women numerous “unwanted” gifts, including a will-writing kit, to the radio station’s central London studios between March 2020 and August 2024.

The 61-year-old also mailed the star items such as a gun, handcuffs, and a police uniform.

Jurors delivered their unanimous guilty verdicts on Tuesday, October 7 last year, after deliberating for four hours and eight minutes over two days, reports the Daily Record.

Following the guilty verdict, Ms Klass said: “After a horrific year, my family and I finally have peace.”

The former Hear’Say singer had told the jury of her “sheer terror” upon learning about the “accumulation” of items.

She became emotional whilst testifying, telling the court how Royal Mail had discovered an air pistol addressed to her. “It just felt extreme on every front,” the 47 year old said.

She revealed she was originally kept in the dark about the post to prevent causing her distress, but was subsequently presented with a catalogue of items and pictures of some of the correspondence by her employer’s security team, the BBC previously reported.

“It was very clear, very quickly, that it was a highly volatile selection of items,” she told prosecutor Timothy Sapwell.

“It was a huge shock, especially the extent to which it had escalated. It’s a huge violation. It’s sheer terror, really.”

Windsor, who has been diagnosed with schizophrenia, called Ms Klass a “naughty vixen” in one of his letters. He also sent Mrs Breathwick a letter saying he wanted to go paddling in a lake with both women whilst drinking champagne.
