Man storms nursery killing a number of kids as extra rushed to hospital in horror assault

Multiple children have reportedly been killed and more rushed to hospital after a man stormed a nursery in Uganda.

The horror incident unfolded in Kabuma Masajja, Uganda, where a suspect is said to have been detained. A man is believed to have stormed a kindergarten, the Ggaba Early Childhood Development Program school, before stabbing many of those inside. Several children, possibly at least four, have reportedly been killed.

Reports from X suggest four toddlers were killed while three others were left in a critical condition after being rushed to hospital. The area is said to have a heavy police presence following the horrifying attack.

The Uganda Police Force said four juveniles had been killed and a suspect arrested in a statement on X: “We confirm a tragic incident at the Ggaba Early Childhood Development Program school, in Makindye Division Kampala City where a male suspect brutally stabbed and killed four juveniles.

“The suspect has been apprehended, and the motive behind the killings is still under investigation. Further details will be provided in due course.”

People have reacted with shock on social media. 2This is terrible and my heart cries for those little souls and their parents,” one person wrote on X. Another added: “This is beyond heartbreaking! May God comfort the parents of the victims. I don’t even know what kind of punishment such a criminal deserves!!”

It comes after a woman allegedly stabbed her boyfriend to death and cut off his head after claiming she caught him attempting to abuse her young son inside their apartment in Brazil.

Police arrested 24-year-old Paula Ellen Neves da Silva following the killing of her partner, 32-year-old Daniel dos Santos, in Itaquaquecetuba, in the São Paulo metropolitan area.

Officers say the woman later admitted carrying out the attack, which took place inside the flat where she lived with her two children, aged three and six.

Investigators believe the couple had spent the night drinking alcohol and using drugs with a friend, who left the property about 90 minutes before the killing.

According to police, the suspect told officers she had been lying on the living room floor pretending to sleep while the victim sat on the sofa nearby. She claimed she then saw him attempting to open her son’s nappy.

She said she immediately grabbed a knife and stabbed him. During the struggle, the man reportedly tried to defend himself and used a serrated knife, injuring her hand.

After the attack, police say the woman decapitated the victim and placed his head inside a backpack. Investigators allege she then dragged the body into the bathroom before washing the knife and partially cleaning blood from the sofa and the floor.
