The ‘world’s sexiest ice hockey star’ has left her fans’ jaws dropped as she donned her goaltender protective gear in an eye-popping display.
Mikayla Demaiter is more famous for her looks off the ice than her skills on it these days after she was forced to retire from the game and has pursued a career as a model. Mikayla is no stranger to treating her fans to bikini-clad snaps but her recent post is slightly different.
Channelling her love of ice hockey and her new modelling venture, Mikayla strapped her pads back on for a photoshoot where she delivered a busty display wearing a white top and posing with protective hockey keeper pads and a stick.

Alongside the snaps, she added the caption: “everyone asks me why i chose to be a goalie, and the answer is simple—there’s nothing i love more than being number one.”
Her caption sure got plenty of attention as users in the comments section flocked to make the same joke. One user said: “Ohh you were definitely born to be a keeper, Mik.”
A second added: “The one and only keeper, that’s for sure.” While a third quipped: “You’re always number one!”
The Canadian was previously a goaltender on the ice for the Bluewater Hawks in Ontario. However, she was forced to give up the sport due to injury. She decided to pursue her current profession back in 2020 and the rest is history.
Mikayla has 3.1 million followers on Instagram and her influencer aspirations have gone from strength to strength since stepping in front of the camera.
She now focuses on her modelling and social media career full-time after an ACL injury dashed her hockey dreams.
She previously said announced her retirement in an emotional post: “Dear Hockey, It is time to say goodbye. It is time to turn the page and move to the next chapter of my life, for the first time you will not be my number one focus.
“I want to thank you for the places we’ve gone together. I also want to thank you for all the friends you have made me.
“My family sends their best as well. I know they will definitely miss seeing us together.”
