Derek Chisora vs Deontay Wilder LIVE: Latest rating and round-by-round updates

Follow Daily Mail Sport’s live blog for the undercard, round-by-round updates and score as Derek Chisora vs Deontay Wilder go glove to glove at London’s O2 Arena.

WILDER WINS SPLIT DECISION

115-111 Wilder, 115-112 Chisora, 115-113 Wilder. That was how the judges scored an absolutely bonkers 12 rounds of heavyweight slugging. There wasn’t a huge amount of boxing in there but entertainment wise and for sheer heart that scores pretty highly as a contest.

JEFF POWELL: A brawling climax to an astonishing fight. Chisora has the round but it’s probably not quite enough 10-9

ROUND 11: Sensational round – one to come!

JEFF POWELL: Chisora goes through the ropes for another count in this phenomenal battle but from somewhere drops Wilder with bazooka of his own. Whatever next – and last. 10-10

ROUND 10: Chisora gritting his teeth

JEFF POWELL: For a terrifying minute or more Chisora is hunched in a corner while Wilder lines him up blows which would have dropped a real bull on all fours. 9-10

ROUND 9: A lull

JEFF POWELL: A round which would have been a humdinger in most fights was comparatively quiet. Chisora boxing by memory now, Wilder breathing hard but still landing. 9-10

ROUND 8: Point deducted!

JEFF POWELL: One huge right from Chisora, half a dozen from Wilder to send Derek half way through the ropes for the first count but after more punishment and brawling the Bomber is deducted a point from what should have been a 10-8 round. 9-10

ROUND 7: Fatigue sets in

JEFF POWELL: Both men crash to the canvas in a neutral corner. Chisora keeps lurching forward. Is Wilder tiring even though he edges this one? 9-10

ROUND 6: Fans on their feet

JEFF POWELL: This is a crowd pleaser if ever there was one. More clubbing blows from Wilder but Chisora keeps swinging to keep this one even. 10-10

ROUND 5: Huge right hands

JEFF POWELL: Chisora down again but this time Wilder warned for shoving him over. The War man exacted his own revenge with some more bludgeoning rights, before slipping over again in the effort. 10-9

ROUND 4: Chisora back in it!

JEFF POWELL: Wilder’s turn to slip. Although the referee looked tempted to score a knock down. Hugely encouraged, Chisora whaled away with some massive blows to win his first round 10-9

ROUND 3: Chisora survives…

JEFF POWELL: Chisora’s best hope to prolong the fight. To that he had to survive some more bombs in the third. How is this warrior still upright. 9-10

ROUND 2 – Wilder tees off

JEFF POWELL: Wilder met the next charge with a barrage of huge punches which would have finished a less resilient foe. But reeling though he was the only time he went down was from a slip. 9-10
