Helen Chamberlain posed nude for Penthouse and World Cup bra ‘triggered bus crash’
Helen Chamberlain was once a fixture of Saturday morning TV, starring on Soccer AM when the programme was in its heyday
Helen, who celebrated her birthday in the week, wasn’t just a presenter and she tried her hand at a number of careers – including modelling, even posing for Penthouse in 2004. The Soccer AM bared all for the lad’s mag, protecting her modesty with a guitar.
And it’s not the only time she’s stripped, down also posing in some England-themed underwear at Trafalgar Square ahead of the World Cup. However, her stunt, she joked, had caused a bus to crash.

Speaking on the incident, she said: “I’ve done loads of various photo shoots and bits and pieces. I modelled the World Cup bra and pants in Trafalgar Square.
“Triumph brought out a nice set of underwear, like a ball on one side and a goal net on the other. I was launching them in London and a two double Decker buses ran into each other whilst I was there.
“It was quite funny because you heard this big crunch and then of course all the photographers ran over and started talking pictures of them.

“It went into the papers next day saying that a bus driver got so distracted looking at me in my bra and pants that he crashed into another one…
“But I’m not an underwear model at all. In fact somebody said to keep my clothes on and that I looked more like the back end of a Bus!
“You just have to say, ‘Oh well, I got paid for it’ they didn’t…”
After leaving Soccer AM, the 59-year-old presented for TNT Sports and collaborated with Lovejoy on other projects, but now she’s more focused on enjoying rural life in the countryside.
She also takes pleasure in sharing her metal-detecting discoveries on social media and has a simple explanation for why she left the television industry.
In an interview with the Athletic, Chamberlain stated: “I spent nearly half my life sitting on that sofa. I was there for nearly 23 years.
“That’s a long time to have any job, never mind a job in broadcasting. I had the farm to see to. I wanted to rescue more dogs and breed sheep and chickens. So I didn’t have time for Saturday mornings anymore.”
