Hunt for Sparkbrook shooter after driveby assault leaves bullet holes in diner window

Police are on the hunt for a driver following a doorstep shooting in a UK city. It comes after a firearm was discharged at the entrance of a property on Montgomery Street, Birmingham around 7.20pm on March 26.
A man in his 30s sustained injuries, which were neither life-altering nor life-threatening. Officers have stated that they believe the individual who fired the weapon arrived and departed the scene in a black Kia Sportage.
When Birmingham Live visited the site the next day, a police cordon was still in place. The location, C. Kay’s Diner, situated at the intersection with Dolobran Road, seemed to have bullet holes in the glass of its front door.
Police are now advancing their efforts to locate the vehicle and the driver, and have appealed for assistance from the public.
