Katherine Ryan reveals she introduced her eight week outdated child to her facelift appointment as she offers replace on beauty tweakments

Katherine Ryan has revealed she brought her eight week old baby to her facelift appointment as she gave an update on her cosmetic tweakments.

The Canadian comedian and writer, 42, previously confirmed she has undergone a facelift, blepharoplasty (eyelid surgery), and facial fat transfer.

And on the latest episode of The Jonathan Ross Show, Katherine joked about how she decided to get a facelift after welcoming her daughter Holland Juliette in October – and she even brought her baby along with her.

Saturday’s instalment of the ITV show saw Katherine, Dame Kristin Scott Thomas, Alan Davies, Mawaan Rizwan, and singer-songwriter Sienna Spiro join host Jonathan, 65, on the sofa. 

‘After I delivered my last child, I decided to get a facelift just to p*** off my enemies,’ she said. 

Katherine went on to discuss the day she had the facelift, as she said: ‘Well, I brought an eight week old baby to the procedure, which they’ve never seen before. 

‘They said, I’m the only person who had a facelift with a newborn baby. I said I had to bring her, she’s my goal weight [laughs]. 

‘Look, I went home the next day, and I did Christmas I took the kids to Lapland, I went to Christmas parties. I just carried on with my normal life.

She added: ‘I mean, I was bruised looking. I mean, I wore a balaclava to a Christmas party, which was unsettling for some of the guests.’

Elsewhere in the episode, Katherine gasped ‘it’s almost over for me!’ as she was floored by her ‘hurtful’ biological age and said she’s ‘maxed out’ after welcoming fourth baby aged 42. 

Funny woman Katherine touches upon being a mother during her stint on the programme, after giving birth to her fourth child, daughter Holland Juliette, in October last year. 

The star and husband Bobby Kootstra – who tied the knot in 2019 – are also parents to Fred, four, and daughter Fenna, three. 

Katherine is also mum to Violet, 16, who is from a previous relationship. 

Speaking about her latest journey into motherhood, Katherine tells Jonathan: ‘You don’t know you’ve had enough until you’ve had that one too many. 

‘I’ve maxed myself out… it’s over.’ 

She adds: ‘It is a miracle and I feel very blessed… it’s really exciting to be done though.’ 

The star also touches upon her podcast called What’s My Age Again? 

According to the podcast’s official YouTube channel, it asks: ‘How old are you? How old is your body? What do you do to feel young?’

She opened up to Jonathan about her own findings and confesses: ‘Brace yourself, it was hurtful. I’m 42, my biological age is 77. 

‘It’s almost over for me… there are a lot of really cool takeaways on the podcast. 

‘Cold plunges are really effective… I am taking magnesium now. I eat 30 plants a week…’ 

She also opened up about the book that she is writing called First Born Daughter. 

‘I discovered on tour, a lot of people who like me, happen to be first born daughters.

‘[The book is] about womanhood and the messiness passed on… it’s interesting to include my daughter. 

‘She’s 16 and to get some of her perspective. 

‘It’s just a lot of me oversharing as usual… I’m writing most of it and she does 10%, which is a big ask of a 16-year-old,’ Katherine says. 

Last month Katherine poked fun at her ‘fertility addiction’ as she enjoyed a family holiday with her four children.  

She shared a hilarious Instagram clip of her son Fred and daughter Fenna, and her new baby Holland, four months, all piled onto a double buggy as she wheeled it through the resort.

Katherine shared a tongue-in-cheek caption joking that her large brood was ‘an advert for condoms.’

Praising the double buggy she’d brought on the holiday, Katherine captioned the post: ‘@bugaboouk enabling my fertility addiction.’

Sharing another clip of her children she added: ‘Truly all-star performance from the donkey this holiday. 

‘We [heart emoji] @bugaboouk #notanad #butsortofanadforcondoms.’
