Family points emotional assertion after mum-of-three discovered useless in freezer at dwelling

The date for funeral for a mum found dead in a freezer at her Wakefield home has been set.

Mum-of-three Carolann Barraclough was found dead in a home freezer in Ken Churchill Drive in Horbury, Wakefield on Thursday, March 5.

Her husband, David Barraclough, 45, has been charged with murder, Yorkshire Live reported.

Carolann’s funeral is set to be held on Monday, April 27 but funeral costs are high.

Friends and relatives of the 37-year-old, known as Caz, are raising money through GoFundMe to support her children and to help pay for the funeral costs.

Posting to the fundraising page they wrote: “Details of Caz’s funeral have now been confirmed and will take place on Monday 27th April. The family have received the full breakdown of costs, including legal fees, cremation, the service, flowers, cars, and more. The total comes to £7,346, which is an incredibly large amount.”

“Thanks to the kindness and generosity of everyone who has donated to the GoFundMe so far, we have raised £3,000 towards these costs. We are so grateful but we would love to keep pushing further to help ease as much of this financial burden as possible during such a heartbreaking time for the family.”
