• The disturbing video showed a Haitian man bludgeoning a Bangladeshi mum-of-two to death in what police described as a sickening attack. The victim was working as a clerk at the gas station when she was killed.
• Trump posted the uncensored footage on his Truth Social account alongside a rambling rant blaming the Biden administration for the killing. He wrote: “An Illegal Alien Criminal from Haiti, who was released into our country by the worst president in history, crooked Joe Biden, and the radical Democrats in Congress, just beat an innocent woman to death with a hammer at a gas station in Florida.”
• The former president claimed the video was “one of the most vicious things you will ever see” but said he felt obligated to share it. He argued it showed “what Democrats are protecting, and wanting to come into our Country.”
• Police arrested homeless suspect Rolbert Joachin, 40, after he fled the scene and remained on the loose for six hours. The shop owner revealed Joachin had tried to withdraw money from a cash machine the day before but was unsuccessful.
• When the victim explained the shop didn’t own the machine, Joachin became enraged and returned the next morning demanding money. The woman was inside praying when she heard him damaging her car and came out to confront him.
• Joachin is now in custody at Lee County jail facing murder charges and is due to appear in court on May 4.
