Little league softball recreation descends into chaos as coach goes ballistic on opposing workforce in viral video

An unruly catfight at a youth softball game has gone viral after a coach was charged for instigating the brawl.

Meredith Haskew Grant, a coach for a little league softball team in Georgia, was arrested after she allegedly attacked the opposing team’s coach.

Grant claimed her daughter had been mocked by players on the other team, which sent her into a frenzy.

Video of the fight exploded on social media, showing an infuriated Grant lunging at another coach after the elementary school kids were high-fiving on Saturday.

Grant is seen slamming her down, and the two begin wrestling on the ground. Other adults stand there stunned as the girls flee to the dugouts.

As the two scrap, a rock rendition of Miley Cyrus‘s ‘Wrecking Ball’ is heard blaring over the speakers.

The women broke free from each other’s grasp, and after it seemed like they were done fighting, Grant went back for more.

The coach is seen yanking the other woman by her shirt and pulling her hair as they both tumble back into the dirt.

Grant then ends up on top of the other coach, throwing punches as other adults rush in to break up the fight.

Other parents are heard shouting at the girls to ‘get in the dugout’ amid the screaming and chaos.

Another horrified adult is heard yelling: ‘get those jerks out of here.’

According to an arrest report obtained by News Channel 9, Grant told police that one of the rival coaches ‘got in her face’ when the teams lined up for postgame high-fives.

Despite her account, police reviewed the video and said Grant was the aggressor, adding that she shoved the opposing coach.

A separate coach tried to intervene and break up the brawl, but he said he was ‘pushed,’ by Grant, per the report.

The rowdy coach snatched the woman by the hair, where she ‘pulled her to the ground and punched her in the face,’ according to the report.

The Whitfield County Sheriff’s Office arrested Grant that day, and slapped her with a misdemeanor battery charge.

She has since bonded out of jail, and United States Fastpitch Association state director Jeff Britt banned her from coaching in all future tournaments.
