This is the shocking moment a courier is seen on CCTV appearing to urinate into a baby’s pushchair inside a residential hallway before heading towards a lift and continuing with his deliveries. The CCTV footage was filmed in the city of Almaty, in Kazakhstan, on 5th April, before emerging online.
The clip shows the delivery worker inside a building corridor near a child’s pushchair, apparently unzipping his trousers and doing his business into it before he proceeds with his route. The video spread rapidly across social media, prompting anger from residents and widespread condemnation of the alleged behaviour.
Police in Almaty confirmed the individual had been identified following the emergence of the footage and said efforts were underway to locate him.
The Almaty Police Department said in a statement: “Regarding unlawful actions that took place in one of the residential complexes in the city, the Almalinsky District Police Department carried out an investigation. The identity of the man has been established.
“At present, police officers are taking measures to determine his whereabouts and detain him.
Based on the results, a legal assessment will be given and he will be held accountable in accordance with the law.
“Such incidents are unacceptable, severely violate public order norms and cause justified public outrage.”
Authorities said the investigation remains ongoing as officers continue to search for the suspect.
Several similar incidents in the UK have prompted outrage in recent years, after delivery workers were allegedly caught on doorbell or CCTV cameras urinating in residential areas.
The most recent high-profile case was reported in Loughton, Essex, on March 13, 2026, where a man said to be wearing a Royal Mail uniform was reportedly filmed appearing to urinate in a doorway inside a block of flats, with Royal Mail saying it was treating the matter as a “priority” investigation.
Other cases include an April 2025 incident in Essex in which a Yodel driver was reportedly filmed allegedly spitting into trainers left outside a door before appearing to urinate on communal flooring, and a December 2025 report from Belvedere in south-east London where a uniformed postal worker was caught on camera apparently relieving himself against a home.
There have also been reports from Merthyr Tydfil in Wales (May 2025) and Bristol (December 2023) involving alleged public urination by delivery workers, with residents describing their anger and companies facing calls to address standards and working conditions.
