Dermot O’Leary was left blushing and shouting at his co-star Alison Hammond to ‘stop’ as she gushed over his ‘hot’ noughties throwback snap that was showcased live on This Morning on Friday.
Celebrating all things Madonna, thanks to her upcoming album release, with their music choices following the ad breaks on the ITV show – Dermot, 52, and Alison, 51, were seen dancing around the studio.
But as the co-hosts settled down to the present the show, Dermot was surprised with a throwback snap of him from 2005, showing him posing beside Madonna.
The image was taken as promotional material for his hour-long interview with the pop singer on the release of her documentary film I’m Going To Tell You A Secret.
It showed Dermot, then 32, standing side-by-side with the hitmaker, with the duo smiling for the camera in front of a purple curtain background.
‘Hold on a minute, that looks like Justin Timberlake. Is that you? You look HOT. Can we just go back to Dermot’s picture please because I seriously can’t get over how hot you are!’ Alison reacted.

‘Look at you. I know you’re hot now, but that! That was like, who were you? Look at the way you’re standing.’
To which Dermot responded: ‘I’m getting uncomfortable now…’ and tried to move on, but Alison insisted they stood side by side to recreate the photo.
‘OK, here we go, can we get the shot up, please,’ Dermot told the crew, as they posed in the same way he had with Madonna two decades ago.
Twenty minutes later as the show continued and the weekly ITV competition was announced Alison said to Dermot: ‘With that money, I would buy loads of pictures of you and Madonna. I would put them all in my room.’
‘He was so handsome,’ Jeff Brazier could be heard shouting off screen, to which Dermot crossed his arms and replied: ‘What do you mean he “was” so handsome?’
The photo was shown once again during the show, an hour later, as Alison continue to gush over Dermot’s look before he finally shouted: ‘Stop!’
After one of the ad breaks, the image of Dermot and Madonna was shown for a final time, prompting Alison to chime: ‘Let’s have a look at the picture, because you look HOT.’
‘Oh, stop it everybody!’ Dermot replied, before once again standing next to Alison and posing in the same manor as the photo on ITV screens.

It comes after Ben Shephard derailed This Morning and left his co-stars and crew in fits of giggles as he asked a very rude question in the middle of a makeover segment.
The host was left squirming as he tried to explain himself while his co-host Cat Deeley and fashion presenter Jo Good struggled to keep control of the segment.
On Thursday, Cat, 49, and Ben, 51, were joined by their resident fashion expert to craft some summer-ready looks for ITV audiences, based on the biggest trends.
And after showcasing a series of looks for the duo, Jo then turned attentions to her own outfit, a pink and white blouse tied up round the neck and a pair of wide-legged jeans, complete with some heeled boots.
Describing the look, Jo revealed how the ‘kitten bow’ that was tied at the top of the shirt ‘is very flattering for mature women’ before going on to point out the other design features of the item.
But Ben was quick to interrupt with a question, asking about the classic neckline, which has also been referred to as a lavallière: ‘Is it a kitten bow or a pussy bow?’

The crew and Cat could then be heard trying to stifle their laughter as Ben stuttered and tried to explain himself – only to make things worse and leave Cat shouting.
‘I just didn’t know if it was smaller, if it was a pussy, would it be bigger?’ Ben continued, as Jo tried to cover up the question, swiping: ‘Shall we move on?’
Looking embarrassed, Ben expressed: ‘I sometimes forget I’m on the telly,’ to which Cat shouted in his direction: ‘Any more questions?’
Ben sheepishly replied as the studio, including show guest Sheridan Smith, were seen erupting into laughter: ‘No, no, I think I’ve said enough.’
Fans at home were shocked to hear Ben’s use of language, and took to X, formerly Twitter, to joke about his choice of words – a vulgar slang term for a vagina.
However, many fans were left unimpressed by the segment for other reasons, hitting out at Jo’s choice of outfits for the women involved.
Among the looks were a matching two-piece baby blue suit, a green shots and tailored jacket look, and a long white skirt paired with a button-up top.
One wrote on X of the matching two-piece outfit: ‘That’s awful, awful colour as well,’ as another chimed in: ‘These fashions today are hideous! #ThisMorning.’
Someone else agreed: ‘Blind people could dress people better than Jo,’ as a fourth added: ‘Oh boy hear we go with the terrible fashion clothes.’

It comes after Cat was left red-faced after Ben scolded her for her ‘bossy’ treatment of a This Morning guest as they appeared live on air.
The duo were joined by former Doctor Who star Christopher Eccleston on the sofa on the same instalment of the show, as he spoke about his upcoming role in new Netflix series Unchosen.
The drama, which is inspired by the more than 2,000 cults across the UK, sees Christopher, 62, play a sinister cult leader named Mr Phillips.
The synopsis for the upcoming show, which will launch on April 21, reads: ‘Unchosen follows Rosie, who lives in a cloistered Christian community with her husband, Adam (Asa Butterfield), and their daughter.
‘The fateful arrival of the mysterious Sam, an escaped prisoner, throws into relief the reality and restraints of Rosie’s world: Perhaps her hidden religious community doesn’t have her best interests at heart.
‘As cracks begin to appear in Rosie and Adam’s marriage, Sam presents himself as Rosie’s saviour. But with his dark criminal past, where does the greatest danger lie — with the cult, or with Sam?’

Before Christopher could begin speaking about his role in the show, Cat, 49, was seen dishing him out a reminder to ‘sit up’ as the camera panned to him.
She said: ‘Sit up straight, we’re on!’ to which Ben hit back as Christopher shuffled in his seat: ‘You’re being so bossy with the guests!’ as Cat laughed.
Elsewhere, Tim Campbell left This Morning viewers in shock when he took an X-rated swipe at a caller during a live phone-in segment.
The Apprentice star was on hand to offer up his business advice to those looking to change careers, or launch a side-hustle into a full-time occupation.
Tim, 48, joined ITV daytime hosts Rochelle Humes and Joel Dommett last week as they spoke to viewers live about their business ideas and plans.
The second caller, a retired teacher named Julie and a keen knitter, was asking Tim how she could market her hand-made socks into a worldwide business.
Julie asked: ‘It takes me about two days to make a pair of socks… how can I move forward and make something of this skill I have?’
And as Tim went to give out his advice, encouraging Julie to market herself as a ‘global’ brand, he made an unfortunate slip-of-the-tongue.
Tim said: ‘Now, you are a global sex seller,’ before realising what he had done, laughing and correcting himself: ‘Socks! Socks seller!’

Joel and Rochelle put their heads in their hands and let out a series of laughs as Tim continued: ‘When you talk with a lisp sometimes you get it in the wrong order!’
Continuing through the laughter, Tim went on: ‘You’re a global SOCK seller… you can sell other stuff if you want,’ to which Joel chimed in: ‘Don’t put that on your website, Julie’, as Rochelle joked: ‘That’s not what you want the world to know.’
‘Stay with me, Julie,’ Tim begged as he tried to regain order in the studio. ‘Your global SOCKS can be sold anywhere, and that’s a great pitch for somebody.
‘I’d change your marketing to say, “I sell socks”, I’ll make sure that I say that very, very carefully, globally, around the world.’
Fans at home were quick to see the funny side of the mishap, and took to X, formerly Twitter to react. One penned: ‘Plenty of global sex sellers already I’d say Tim.’
Another chimed in: ‘Tim calling Julie a global sex seller! I bet that wasn’t on her bingo card when she phoned in about her socks…’
A third wrote: ‘Global sock seller. I love the fact he changed it to “global sex seller”,’ as a fourth said: ‘He said sex!’
Elsewhere in the show, fans were left baffled and things turned chaotic with a game of Twister happening live on air on the ITV daytime series.
Tim, 48, joined ITV daytime hosts Rochelle Humes and Joel Dommett on Thursday as they spoke to viewers live about their business ideas and plans
Hosts Rochelle, 37, and Joel, 40, were joined by This Morning contributor Ashley James and Nick Ferrari to discuss the latest headlines on the show, including ‘classic boardgames making a comeback’.
It prompted the group to make an attempt at playing a game of Twister, with Nick sitting out to spin the wheel, and the remaining three presenters playing.
The game, which was launched in the 1960s and aims to ‘tie you up in knots’, is played on a large plastic mat that is spread on the ground.
Players are tasked with placing their hands and feet on coloured dots, as indicated by the spinner that tells players where to place their hands and feet.
Ashley, Joel and Rochelle were seen taking it in turns to place their hands and feet, seeing the presenters get up close as they struggled to stay on the mat.
‘Is this what morning telly has become?’ Joel jokingly asked, to which Nick hit back: ‘I’m enjoying this,’ before continuing to announce the moves.
‘Is anyone still watching this?’ Rochelle then asked, to which Joel hit back: ‘I’m having an absolutely great time!’
Joel was then seen crashing into Rochelle as he tried to make his next move, seeing them both crash to the ground and Ashley declared the winner.
Shrugging off the bizarre action, Rochelle concluded: ‘I mean, I’m not sure if anyone’s still there but shall we tell you what’s coming up next?’
This Morning airs weekdays from 10am on ITV1 and ITVX.
