The first famous face to get booted from I’m A Celebrity… South Africa Seann Walsh has hit out at his ‘useless’ costars – branding the camp a ‘hellhole’ and the show ‘harder and scarier’ than ever.
Seann, 40, who first appeared on I’m A Celeb back in 2022, where he placed fifth, had his second bid to be crowned king of the jungle cut very short.
Unlike the show’s traditional format, the all-stars edition is pre-recorded, and the celebs are booted off based on their performances in the trials rather than being chosen by the general public.
Unfortunately for Seann, this meant that he was sent home by tribe king Harry Redknapp, 79, after losing an eating challenge to Jimmy Bullard.
Seann, who also recently struggled in a general knowledge trial, guessing that the lyric to Toto’s Africa went ‘I bless the rain down in Spain‘, said that he wasn’t surprised by the former football manager’s decision.
He said: ‘I think as soon as Harry mentioned someone had to go, I was basically packing my bags.’

The celebs are currently split into two separate camps, the Lions and the Rhinos, and the respective teams were chosen by Harry Redknapp and Jimmy Bullard following their late arrival in the jungle.
Seann admitted that he had no chance against his competition when it came to elimination – as the all-stars format really is a case of survival of the fittest.
He said: ‘I knew it was going to be me, because I knew who I was up against, including a former Queen of The Jungle and a former world champion.’
Reflecting on his time on the basic I’m A Celeb camp, Savannah Scrub, Seann admitted: ‘It was an absolute hellhole. The toilet was facing the shower.’
Seann then said that his co-stars in the stripped back camp were ‘useless’.
He found himself in Savannah Scrub earlier in the show after being sent there by former boxer David Haye, who was determined to kick out the ‘weaker’ celebrities from the main camp.
He said: ‘Honestly, I think the three most useless people to be left together in Savannah Scrub were Adam, myself, and Bev.
‘You couldn’t have hoped for a more useless three, to the point where we couldn’t see any kind of door for the long drop, so we assumed there wasn’t one!’

With such a radically different format from his first stint on the show, Seann ultimately found the experience a lot harder the second time around.
The I’m A Celeb returner said: ‘The trials were harder and scarier. It felt like it was turned up to eleven, so that just put more anxiety into the camp.’
The show was filmed back in September 2025 and is the second all-stars edition of I’m A Celeb.
Airing in 2023, the first season brought together another collection of previous contenders from the long-running reality TV program, which first hit screens back in 2002.
In the end, Myleene Klass, who came second in her original series in 2006, was crowned the all-stars Queen of the Jungle.
I’m A Celebrity… South Africa continues Friday at 9pm on ITV1 and ITVX
