Glam mum ‘ran prostitution ring from residence’ and ‘slept with high cops’ in scandal
A glamourous Texas mother of three is accused of running a prostitution ring from inside her home, while top local cops paid her big bucks for her alleged seedy services
A mum of three has been arrested after she allegedly ran a prostitution ring from inside her suburban home.
Ashley Ketcherside was arrested on Tuesday (April 14) in Godley, Texas, on charges of racketeering, after an investigation reportedly discovered evidence linking her to the criminal sex ring that was previously believed to be run solely by her husband, Michael Ketcherside, who had been taken into custody the week before.
A burner phone belonging to the Texas mum was allegedly discovered to contain the contact details of numerous clients looking for paid hook-ups, reportedly going back around a decade. Incredibly, many of the Ketchersides’ alleged clients are police officers themselves, with court records naming local cop Solomon Omotoya as having solicited Ashley for sex in exchange for DIY jobs and other favours.
It would be that same officer Omotoya who led the investigation into former police chief Matthew Cantrell, who is accused of gathering evidence to potentially blackmail those he and the Ketchersides saw as adversaries, including school board members, council officials and fellow cops.
Cantrell reportedly told cops investigating the alleged prostitution ring that Ashley charged around $1000 an hour.
Police also believe their former chief may have solicited prostitutes for himself while in office, and arranged relationships on behalf of his wife, according to the Daily Mail.
Before she was arrested, Ashley Ketcherside denied all allegations against her husband and herself.
She said: “He’s a great husband, an amazing father to my three kids, and I believe in the justice system. I’m absolutely no victim of my husband or anyone else.”
She also denied that there had been any prostitution ring, adding that she believed “two consenting adults should be allowed to do whatever it is that they want to do.”
Ashley Ketcherside was convicted of prostitution back in 2012 and again in 2016. She was later removed from the local school district committee as a result of these convictions.
She is being held in jail on a bond of $20,000, while her husband’s bond has been placed at $450,000. He faces charges relating to both prostitution and racketeering.
Cantrell is being held having been charged with continuous promotion of prostitution, while Omotoya faces one charge of soliciting prostitution.
