Two UK Euromillions winners share £126m jackpot with French ticket holder

Two UK-based players have won more than £41 million each after guessing the five numbers plus two Lucky Stars in the latest Euromillions jackpot draw

Two lucky UK ticket-holders have become multi-millionaires overnight, after scooping Tuesday’s Euromillions jackpot.

National Lottery operator Allwyn revealed on April 21, shortly after the Euromillions draw took place, that two fortunate UK-based players had bagged more than £41million each by correctly guessing the five numbers plus two Lucky Stars.

The two lucky UK-ticket holders are sharing the colossal jackpot with another player, who reportedly purchased their ticket in France and also correctly predicted the seven numbers drawn earlier in the evening.

The winning numbers were 13, 16, 29, 40 and 47, with the Lucky Star numbers being 3 and 4.

Each player will be able to pocket an exact sum of £41,844,862.30.

Just last month, a single UK ticket-holder managed to scoop the entire jackpot, walking away with more than £180m.

This latest Euromillions win means the next draw, scheduled for Friday, will feature a significantly smaller – but still tempting – jackpot totalling £14m, reports the Express.

Tuesday’s draw saw a total of five individuals claim the second-highest prize – including two people based in the UK, each netting £104,045.10.

The winners now have 180 days to claim their staggering prizes.

Prizes exceeding £50,000 must be claimed in person during the claim period, according to the National Lottery.

The organisation’s website advises that winners of large prizes need to initially call a National Lottery operator to register their win.

They can then arrange a date and time to receive their prizes.
