Tyson Fury believed the illuminati have been going to ‘kill’ him throughout psychological well being breakdown says spouse Paris
Heavyweight champion Tyson Fury once believed that the people around him, including the illuminati, were trying to kill him during a extreme mental health breakdown
Tyson Fury’s wife Paris has detailed her husband’s most extreme mental health episode. The reality star, 36, revealed that the boxer, who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder and depression, was once convinced that the illuminati were after him and the people around him were trying to kill him.
Tyson’s most extreme panic attack led to him being hospitalised with a suspected heart attack and intrusive, paranoid thoughts that he was in real danger. Paris recalled: “When Tyson had his first anxiety attack, he thought he was having a heart attack.
“I got called, ‘He’s had a heart attack, he’s in the hospital, he’s having a heart attack’, and so I rushed down to the hospital and Tyson is on a bed and I walk over and he goes, ‘Get me out of here they are trying to kill me’.
“He’s gone, totally had a complete anxiety attack.”
Paris said the incident, which took place around seven years ago, was by the far the worse she’s seen.
She continued: “He’s had anxiety attacks but not to that level. This one he was in an ambulance, he’s gone in the hospital, a full blown anxiety attack.
“He believed people around him was trying to kill him, he believed the illuminati was getting him’, he was gone, it was really really bad. It frightened me to death.”
Paris admitted it was a ‘relief’ when the heavyweight champion finally sought professional help and was officially diagnosed, because she knew there was a light at the end of the tunnel.
Speaking to Jamie Laing for his Great Company podcast, the star shared: “I had a husband who was just on a hellbound mission to a trainwreck.
“Thank Goodness Tyson got to a point where he knew he wasn’t going to manage it on his own, we got help, he saw a few psychiatrists, and once he got diagnosed it made it so much better as well, it did.
“It’s like, ‘You’re not actually insane, you’ve got a problem and it has a name and we can try and adapt and work with this’.”
She admitted there were a “few times” when she considered leaving him when he was “out drinking” a lot but took her marriage vows seriously, “It’s in sickness and health”, Paris said.
