A UK wrestling fan who went missing after travelling to Las Vegas, US, for the events across the WWE WrestleMania weekend has tragically been found dead, according to local authorities.
Marc Izard, 43, was reported missing after last been seen watching Smackdown at the T-Mobile arena on April 17. An appeal was posted online in hope of finding information of Marc’s whereabouts, even being shared by a WWE superstar.
Unfortunately, the Clark County coroner’s office confirmed that Marc was found dead the day after he was last seen on April 18, the day of WrestleMania Night One.
As reported by Las Vegas Review-Journal, Marc was found in the 1700 block of Las Vegas Boulevard South, between East St. Louis Avenue and Oakley Boulevard. The Clark County coroner’s office said yesterday (April 27) that his cause of death is still pending.
The missing person appeal, which noted that Marc used a walking stick, had over a million views and was shared on Facebook, Reddit and X.
Alarms were raised over Marc when he failed to make his return flight home to the UK. Loved ones were also unable to reach him since he was last seen on April 18.
The appeal had even been shared by WWE superstar Natalya, daughter of Hall of Famer Jim Neidhart, who appeared in the last known photo of Marc, taken on April 16, before he was tragically found dead.
