Two boys, one and three, who died in home hearth in Wolverhampton are named
Two young boys who were killed in a house fire in Wolverhampton have been named.
J’Saun, three, and Xaliq, one, died on Friday last week after firefighters rushed to a burning property in Mason Street.
The children were brought outside but were tragically pronounced dead at the scene.
Two other children and a woman were already out of the house before the arrival of emergency services.
They were checked by paramedics but did not need hospital treatment.
A woman was arrested on suspicion of causing or allowing the death of two children and has since been released on bail.
West Midlands Police today said the force was still working with the fire service to establish the cause of the blaze.
A spokesman added: ‘Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and rescued two young children.

‘Sadly, despite the best efforts of the emergency services, nothing could be done to save them and they were pronounced dead at the scene.
‘The family of the two boys have asked that their privacy is respected as they come to terms with the tragedy.’
On Saturday morning, forensic officers could be seen entering the property wearing protective equipment.
The walls of the house appeared scorched, while two ground-floor windows were open and blackened with smoke.
Photographs appear to show a smashed window on the first floor of the property, and a mattress lying on the road outside, alongside various debris.
Detective Inspector David Cooper said: ‘Our investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding the fire continues. We are supporting the family of the two young boys at this devastating time.’
Anyone with information which could help the investigation has been asked to contact police via 101, quoting log 5640 of 24 April.
