BBC Question Time host Fiona Bruce makes vital announcement after TV schedule shake-up

During this week’s debate, hosted in Maidenhead in Berkshire, host Fiona Bruce had an important announcement for viewers following a schedule shake-up for next week’s show

BBC Question Time was dramatically halted tonight for host Fiona Bruce to share a major update with BBC viewers.

This week’s debate was hosted in Maidenhead in Berkshire, with host Fiona Bruce and Environment Secretary Emma Reynolds, Conservative MP Victoria Atkins, Deputy Leader of the Liberal Democrats Daisy Cooper, Reform UK’s Zia Yusuf and Co-deputy leader of the Green Party Rachel Millward.

After discussing what can be done to protect the Jewish community following the horrific attack in Golders Green earlier this week, Fiona paused the debate to give viewers an update on next week’s show.

Bruce told the live audience and viewers at home that there would be a major scheduling shake-up for the programme next week. The broadcaster stated: “Let me just say that we are in London next week for our programme and we are not going to be on air on Thursday. That’s the results night for the elections.

“We are going to be on air on Friday when most of the results will have come in. So we shall see where we are.

“So if you want to be part of that programme in London next Friday, go to the Question Time website and follow the instructions there.”

The show will resume as usual on Thursday, May 14 when it is filmed in Brecon.
