Glam footballer flaunts wonderful physique transformation in bikini as she ‘cannot imagine it’
A glam footballer has flaunted her incredible body transformation as she shared a bikini snap as she admitted she ‘can’t believe’ the change
Glamorous footballer Gabby Howell has shared her incredible body transformation in a stunning bikini snap on social media.
The defender, 26, admitted to struggling with food and eating habits before undergoing a fitness overhaul. Howell, who plays for Dartford and helped the club win promotion out of the London and South East Regional Women’s Premier League as well as lift the Kent Women’s Cup this season, shared her personal battle.
Howell took to her Instagram page to revel in her newfound confidence as she posted a side-by-side view of how her body has changed following a three-week-long dieting programme. In the first photo, Howell wears a black gym set before showing off her slimmer new look in a blue bikini.

She also wrote an emotional caption lauding her transformation, she said: “Only 21 days!
“I have always struggled with feeling comfortable in a bikini. As much as I love to train, my food has never been great, really struggled with the nutrition side – I just love a sweet treat?!?
“I’ve improved my eating habits, focused on nutrition. I’ve carried on with sweet treats and some and finally I feel comfortable in a bikini! Can’t believe it!”
Howell received plenty of support from her 227k Instagram followers in the comments section, as one user called her a “stunning, incredible woman.”
A second said: “Absolutely Gorgeous in both pictures.” A third added: “Gorgeous girlie.” While another wrote: “Wow look at you. Look incredible! Lean.”
Howell primarily plays in the backline but is also comfortable being deployed in midfield. The current Dartford star was previously the vice captain of Sutton United.
She has also had to overcome challenges off the pitch too in the shape of sexist abuse from trolls who claimed that women players were selected for their looks rather than talent.
Howell snapped back, saying in a chat with the Mirror: “You can be both – you can play football and like wearing high heels. Men will say they’re horny underneath my photos of me playing football – and if I tag my club in the post it’s embarrassing.
“I like to keep [the hateful comments] on my profiles and I don’t delete them. Young girls think they want to be an influencer but they don’t see the downsides. I like to make people aware.
“Not everyone’s going to like you. I repeat that to myself when I see these comments. You got to develop a thick skin.”
