Disgraced Andrew Windsor noticed with enormous thriller bruise on face as he drives close to house

A bruised Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been spotted at Sandringham amid a widening police probe into misconduct, fraud and his ties to Jeffrey Epstein

Disgraced Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been spotted sporting a massive, unexplained red and purple bruise across his face. The shamed royal was seen behind the wheel today as he drove away from Marsh Farm, located on the royal Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.

The large, deep-purple mark was clearly visible surrounding his right eye and stretching across most of his cheek. It remains a mystery how or when the former prince sustained the facial injury.

Andrew has kept an incredibly low profile since a terrifying security breach on the estate just last month. The defrocked royal was walking the late Queen’s beloved corgis near Sandringham when an intruder suddenly lunged at him.

It is understood a man dashed toward the ex-Duke of York while screaming at him, forcing a panicked Andrew to bolt down a country lane to seek refuge in his vehicle.

Andrew, who tore away from the scene at high speed, was reportedly left “shaken” by the confrontation. Following the scare, the prince allegedly demanded that his round-the-clock security team be brought back.

His taxpayer-funded protection was famously axed by King Charles in August 2024 as the fallout from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal intensified.

The mystery bruise comes just a week after it was revealed that Buckingham Palace was handed emails alleging Andrew was leaking confidential government secrets during his time as a British trade envoy.

A massive archive of 30,000 emails detailing his private financial dealings was passed to the Lord Chamberlain back in 2020. The correspondence had been seized from one of Andrew’s close personal business associates.

Buckingham Palace refused to shed light on the leaks, saying it was unable to comment due to an active police investigation.

Meanwhile, former Prime Minister Gordon Brown has piled on the pressure, demanding cops probe the ex-prince over alleged abuse at royal properties connected to Epstein.

He has also demanded a full investigation into Andrew’s “use of public funds” during his controversial stint as a UK trade representative.

Evidence unearthed from the US Department of Justice’s Epstein files included a damning photograph of Andrew, now 66, draped across the laps of several women.

Detectives are now spearheading a massive multi-agency probe into the royal, looking into claims of sexual misconduct, fraud, corruption, bullying and perverting the course of justice.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) is currently weighing up whether to charge him with misconduct in public office.

Thames Valley Assistant Chief Constable Oliver Wright made a direct appeal to the public, urging alleged “victims and survivors” of billionaire paedophile Epstein to come forward.

The plea comes as the police force significantly expands the scope of its investigation into Andrew’s decade-long tenure as trade envoy between 2001 and 2011.

The fallen royal was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office on February 19 – his 66th birthday – and has since been released under investigation. Andrew has always vehemently denied any wrongdoing.
