Brit couple killed in crash ‘introduced pleasure wherever they went’ say heartbroken household
Craig Pangrazi-Simpson, 64, and his wife, Elizabeth, 60, were killed after their car veered off the A228 Pembury Northern Bypass in Kent and crashed into trees
Tributes have poured in for a “caring” couple who tragically died after their vehicle careered off a road and smashed into trees. Craig Pangrazi-Simpson, 64, and his wife, Elizabeth, 60, were involved in a fatal collision on the A228 Pembury Northern Bypass, between Tonbridge Road and Old Church Road in Kent., shortly before midday on May 18.
Kent Police confirmed a silver Renault Megane travelling from Pembury towards Whetsted left the carriageway on the nearside and entered woodland before ploughing into trees. The driver, Craig, sustained fatal injuries and was declared dead at the scene. The passenger, Elizabeth, was airlifted to a London hospital, where she subsequently passed away.
Relatives have since paid moving tributes to the pair. Elizabeth’s sons, Josh and Jake, said: “Our mum and Craig were two of the kindest, happiest and most loving people you could ever meet. They were both incredibly bubbly, caring, and always brought warmth and laughter wherever they went.
Josh and Jake revealed “family meant everything” to the couple and that they “would always go above and beyond for others”. “Their loss has left a huge void in all of our lives, and they will be deeply missed by everyone who knew and loved them,”
Craig’s daughter, Millie, described her father as a “happy, kind, gentle man” who was “popular and loved by everyone he met”. She said: “His kindness, warmth and constant effort, will always be remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
“My dad was one of the first people in my life to make me feel safe, understood and deeply loved. Even though we hadn’t spoken in a while, my love for him remained.”
“May my dad and his wife, Elizabeth, rest in peace,” she added.
Officers probing the collision have reiterated their call for witnesses, as well as dashcam and CCTV footage. Footage can be uploaded via Kent Police’s online portal.
