Ryanair passengers throw social gathering within the aisle as rowdy girl ‘launches bottle at flyer’
A solo traveller flying from London Stansted to Malta for a dance music festival was left in stitches after rowdy Brits on her Ryanair flight broke out into a cheering aisle party
Boisterous Brits transformed their flight into an unforgettable experience after they “threw a party” in the aisle of a Ryanair aircraft.
Passenger TJ Wright was left gobsmacked after her trip abroad for a festival turned into chaotic mid-air dancing. The 28-year-old solo traveller witnessed the raucous behaviour of fellow passengers who began celebrating in the aisle.
The solar panel company manager filmed the scenes on her Ryanair flight that left her in fits of laughter. “Everyone was strangers on this flight and we all became one,” TJ, from Thurrock, Essex, told NeedToKnow. “I must say, as a solo traveller I had one of the best flights just due to everyone being ready to party.
“All of the passengers just broke out with cheers, music and a ‘party’.”
TJ was travelling from London Stansted to Malta for a dance music festival – with fellow Brits getting the celebrations started early.
According to TJ, the flight transformed into a party after one passenger hurled a bottle at another. The troublemaker was apparently fed up with the racket coming from the seats behind her.
TJ said: “A passenger in front of me threw an empty bottle at one of the passengers sitting next to me, telling him to be quiet. I nicely asked the passenger to apologise and to not be so rude and all of the passengers just broke out with cheers.
“The cabin crew were enjoying it until the belt light came on and everyone had to be seated. The woman who threw the bottle was also told to be seated, otherwise she would need to be moved.”
The video quickly became a sensation online, with the flight to the Higher Love Festival on April 30 amassing an impressive 235,000 views.
Despite the boisterous antics on board, the lads’ dancing actually provided entertainment for several other passengers, including a mum and her baby.
TJ said: “I travel to Malta at least three times a year and I must say as a solo traveller I had one of the best flights just due to everyone being ready to party. You can see in the video that even the women with her young baby are smiling and laughing.”
