England followers go wild as they pack out pubs and bars throughout the land to observe tense Croatia match

Fans flocked to pubs on either side of the Atlantic to shout on the mighty Three Lions in their opening World Cup 2026 match. There were plenty of nervous moments as Thomas Tuchel’s men took on a feisty Croatia at the Dallas Cowboys’ AT&T Stadium.

And that meant plenty excuses to settle the nerves in the first half as Harry Kane’s two goals – a penalty and a header – were equalised by “The Chequered Ones”. However, Tuchel’s team talk must have been motivating as Jude Bellingham scored a wonder goal in the opening of the second half.

After a threatening onslaught from Croatia, Marcus Rashford stepped up to the plate and scored a stylish goal to secure the win.

With all the drama on screen, many fans in the UK and the US were forced to take the edge with a cold and frosty one. Three Lion fanatics packed out Croydon Boxpark and celebrated gleefully at all four of England’s goals.

Similarly, at the we Are Football Festival at Freight Island In Manchester, England supporters went mad fer it every time their main man Harry Kane put one in the back of the net – or did anything note worthy.

There were similar scenes of jubilation in Wembley Box Park with fans going wild during Jude Bellingham’s decider at the beginning of the second half.

Meanwhile, across the pond, England fans were seen flying St George’s flags as they shouted on Tuchel’s men at the at the Londoner Pub on Mockingbird Lane.

England fans yesterday forced police in Texas to intervene after rowdy Three Lions supporters bought more than 5,000 beers in one pub. Hundreds reportedly defied police pleas to move on from a Dallas pub ahead of the Three Lions’ World cup opener.

Many of those supporters stayed out until late on Tuesday night (June 16) at the Londoner Pub in the US city, with some in fancy dress and draped in St George’s flags. However, some tested the police officers by refusing to move on as some began playing football in the street with the ball hitting vehicles.

Despite the pub advertising a later closing time, fans were ordered to move on by bar staff and two police officers just before 10pm.

The pub was eventually cleared, but many defied orders and remained on the balcony outside the building for another couple of hours.

Officers confirmed the early closure was due to the venue reaching maximum capacity, with only two security guards on duty. The majority of England fans were well-behaved and no arrests were made, despite some ignoring police orders to move on.
