Scott McTominay is relationship ‘Queen of Italy’ WAG who’s wowed in beautiful outfits
Scotland will take on Morocco in their second World Cup group stage match, with Scott McTominay at the heart of the action
Scott McTominay is currently appearing for Scotland at the World Cup as they return to the major tournament for the first time in 28 years. The Napoli midfielder is being supported by his family and stunning girlfriend, Cam Reading, who has previously been dubbed the ‘Queen of Italy’.
McTominay has been extremely influential in leading the Scots to the World Cup, scoring two goals and assisting once as the country topped their group to qualify automatically. During his club season, the midfielder made 18 goal contributions as Napoli secured the Italian Super Cup.
Now, McTominay’s focus is all on Scotland as they take on Morocco on Friday night with a major chance of qualifying for the knockout rounds. The 29-year-old has been supported by his partner since his time at Manchester United, with Reading reportedly starting life as a WAG in 2020.

This relationship was kept private until 2022, when Reading was spotted in the stands at Old Trafford before McTominay made his big move to Italy. Now, the WAG is consistently by the midfielder’s side and regularly posts updates from the couple’s private holidays and events together.
Before the World Cup kicked off, the ‘Queen of Italy’ posted snaps of the couple’s holiday in Ibiza with a number of friends. She captioned the photo dump with several emojis, including a yacht, sun, a dancing woman, a bikini and a whale.
Reading stunned in plenty of beach-ready outfits, including a cropped kaftan and white two-piece set. The popular social media star showed off her athletic figure as she posed for the camera alone and with the Scotland international.
Reading was also in attendance at the Gran Gala del Calcio awards, where McTominay scooped the top prize for his performances during the 2024/25 season. During the campaign, the Scot scored 13 goals and assisted six times in Napoli’s pursuit of the league title.
At the ceremony, McTominay was named in the best starting XI and also won Player of the Year in the entire Serie A. Reading was quick to post snaps of the moment and congratulated her partner on his success.
In her Instagram post, the WAG wrote: “Gran Gala del Calcio. Scott walked away with two awards, and I walked away even prouder of the man he is… dedicated, hardworking and always striving for more. Ti amo.
McTominay was also named Scotland’s Player of the Year ahead of their trip to the United States for the World Cup. The midfielder is confident that his country can put in a performance to be proud of, after securing an opening-day win over Haiti in Boston.
Speaking to GQ before the tournament kicked off, the 29-year-old insisted the time was now for Scotland to do their country proud. McTominay said: “There’s no time to be shy, to be honest. You have to take challenges like this head-on, and you have to really think about goals and achievements and stuff like that.
“But it’s a game-by-game process. You can’t ever look too far ahead. It’s relatively simple: You have to give your absolute maximum in every single game, regardless of whether it’s for your club or your country.
“It doesn’t change that — the fact that it’s a World Cup. Obviously, there’s an extra edge there, but the way that I approach my life and all the games is that everything’s equal. Just go there with your chest out and give a good account of yourself.”
Scotland take on Morocco on Friday night at the Boston Stadium in Foxborough, Massachusetts, with an 11pm UK time kick-off. Their final group match will be against mighty Brazil on Wednesday, June 24, at the Miami Stadium in Florida, also kicking off in the UK at 11pm.
