Emile Heskey splits from spouse as he goes ‘Instagram official’ with Sky Sports Walk-on Girl

England and Liverpool footballer Emile Heskey has split from his wife Chantelle after more than 20 years together, with Chantelle confirming the divorce as Emile goes public with new partner Jade Slusarczyk

England football legend Emile Heskey has separated from his wife Chantelle Heskey and gone “instagram official” with his new romance with a Sky Sports Walk-on Girl.

Emile wed Chantelle in 2014 in a grand ceremony at Rookery Hall in Cheshire surrounded by family and friends including numerous football stars. It was the same luxury country hotel where David and Victoria Beckham also announced their engagement in 1998.

However friends and followers of the Heskeys have been left “confused” in recent weeks as images surfaced on social media of Emile arm-in-arm with a new woman. He was snapped with former Miss Blackpool Jade Slusarczyk in the posts on Instagram, reports the Manchester Evening News. Chantelle has confirmed to the MEN that she is divorcing Emile, but declined to comment further.

The former striker earned 62 caps for England between 1999-2010, featuring alongside the likes of Michael Owen and David Beckham.

He was part of Liverpool’s FA Cup triumphant side of 2001, and also turned out for top flight sides Leicester City, Wigan Athletic and Birmingham during a distinguished playing career. Amongst his notable international strikes was netting in the World Cup against Denmark in 2002.

Emile and Jade were photographed on the red carpet at the Ricky Hatton tribute event at Manchester’s AO Arena in June, arriving hand in hand. More recently at the weekend they shared images together on social media supporting a darts event.

Jade tagged Emile in multiple posts, with love heart emojis exchanged between the pair on some of them. Neither Emile, 48, nor Chantelle, 43, have issued any public statement regarding their divorce following more than 20 years as a couple.

The MEN claimed it has received confirmation that their marriage concluded last year and that divorce proceedings are currently underway. A pal of Chantelle’s revealed to the MEN: “Their marriage has been over for a while, but not many people know, they have kept it very quiet.

“But now that Emile appears to have gone public with his new girlfriend it’s been quite difficult for Chantelle as lots of people have been messaging her asking what’s going on.”

The friend revealed that the pair had “grown apart” in recent years due to their professional obligations.

Jade’s social media profile states that she works as a Sky Sports Walk-on Girl across various sports including Snooker Shootout, Mosconi Cup Pool and Darts. Jade, 40, a former Miss Blackpool, had previously enjoyed a prominent romance with snooker world champion Jimmy White, 63, whom she had been seeing since 2018.

Emile first encountered Chantelle Tagoe when she was working as a waitress in her hometown of Liverpool, at the tender age of 18, while Emile had just signed with Liverpool as a 23-year-old star forward.

Chantelle has previously shared how she initially thought Emile was a builder when they first met, completely unaware that he was a football star for the Reds. He proposed to Chantelle in 2006, and they would later celebrate a dreamlike wedding at Rookery Hall in Cheshire in 2014.

Chantelle subsequently became a well-known figure on Cheshire’s social circuit, befriending many of the other wives and girlfriends of Premier League stars in the region. She organised numerous charity events and themed parties, including her legendary annual Halloween party in Alderley Edge.

She would later open a bar, Parea, in Alderley Edge with business partners and eventually returned to her native Liverpool to open a nightclub there as well.

Since hanging up his boots in 2016, Emile has served as a TV pundit and also returned to his home city club in Leicester, taking on the role of head of women’s football development at Leicester City Women.

Meanwhile, Chantelle has been occupied with her bars business in Liverpool, and in recent years, supporting the couple’s two eldest children who are now following in their father’s footsteps in the world of professional football.
