Female instructor, 21, despatched nude images of herself to boy, 14, each time she had bathe

A teacher has been jailed after she admitted sending naked snaps of herself to a 14-year-old pupil every time she had a shower. Cassidy Carter would send crude nudes to the teen but was caught when the child mentioned the pictures to another teacher.

Court records show the male student told a school welfare officer what had been happening back in December 2023, and they then went straight to the headteacher who called in police.

Carter was sentenced to two years in jail after she pleaded guilty to one count of battery resulting in moderate bodily injury. The teacher, 21, was working as a substitute at South Dearborn Community School Corporation in Indiana when she became friends with the student on Snapchat, according to a criminal complaint.

The documents also noted that he said she would send the photos late at night and that she told the boy she was in love with him.

Officers took phones and computers at the time of arrest and found messages and nude pictures of Carter.

Carter was initially charged with one count of child solicitation, but the charges were changed to abuse and battery in the US penal system after the victim moved out of the area and wanted no part in the case, said Dearborn County Prosecutor Lynn Deddens.

Prosecutors had to build the case around the evidence they had found, and the teen victim did not give evidence or give an impact statement.

Recently, another female teacher in New Jersey was charged with sexual assault over claims she had sexual relations with a student.

Julie Rizzitello, 36, is accused of engaging in ‘sexual acts’ with the pupil on ‘multiple occasions’ over 12 months.

She was arrested on Wednesday and charged with two counts of second-degree sexual assault, three counts of criminal sexual contact and one count of witness tampering.

Rizzitello quit her job at Wall Township High School and is currently waiting for a detention hearing.
