Nine transfers Man Utd wish to full with three Michael Carrick signings earlier than Monday

Manchester United are close to completing three signings with more deals in the pipeline and a host of transfer targets emerging for the Premier League giants.
New permanent manager Michael Carrick is set to make some new additions in the form of goalkeeper Karl Darlow and midfielder Andrey Santos, while Ederson is undergoing a thorough medical before sealing his own move from Atalanta.
Darlow is set to join on a free transfer after leaving Leeds United when his deal ran out last month. The 35-year-old will act as understudy to Senne Lammens, with three keepers departing Old Trafford this summer. He was offered new terms at Elland Road having featured in 22 Premier League matches for the side last campaign. Nevertheless, he is now expected to make the journey across the Pennines and join United instead.

Andre Onana has already returned to Trabzonspor on loan, while Altay Bayindir is anticipated to secure a permanent move back to Turkey.
Radek Vitek will also depart to guarantee regular first-team football and United could benefit financially from the 22-year-old after his successful loan spell at Bristol City.
A £50million deal was agreed with Chelsea earlier this week for Santos, 22, and he has been completing medical tests. The Brazilian midfielder is poised to rubber-stamp his move to the club on a five-year deal shortly.
While Darlow and Santos could finalise their transfers as early as Friday, there’s also an update on Ederson, with United deciding to conduct a more comprehensive medical assessment of the midfielder. Initial tests were carried out during the World Cup, but following Brazil’s exit, the 27-year-old has travelled to Manchester to wrap up his transfer.
Despite rumours that the deal might collapse, it remains firmly on track as he readies himself for the final stage of his medical. United have already agreed a £35million deal with Atalanta for Ederson’s services, plus an additional £3.8million in add-ons. Personal terms on a four-year contract with an option for a further year have also been agreed upon.
Fresh reports from TEAMtalk suggest the club are also keen on France midfielder Manu Kone, who has caught the eye with his performances at the World Cup. The 25-year-old is currently under contract at Italian club Roma, who are reportedly prepared to consider offers in the region of £50m.
United still consider French midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni, 26, as one of the club’s dream targets. But it’s thought Jose Mourinho may wish to keep the £85m rated star at Real Madrid and hand him a new contract.
According to BBC Sport, United are interested in signing former Liverpool defender Neco Williams from Nottingham Forest and have registered their interest with his club. The 25-year-old could cost as much as £40m.
United’s squad returned to Carrington to kick off their pre-season preparations on Thursday. The Red Devils face Wrexham in their first friendly on Saturday, July 18 in Helsinki, Finland.
