Dr Phil noticed secret UFO information after ‘Trump recruited him’ however fact was ‘lined up’
The 75-year-old talk show host said the White House wanted him to analyse how folk might react to learning that humans are ‘somewhere different in the food chain’ of the universe
TV star Dr Phil said Donald Trump’s government recruited him to review America’s real life X-Files before they were made public – and he unearthed a ‘cover up’.
The 75-year-old talk show host said the White House wanted him to analyse how folk might react to learning that humans are ‘somewhere different in the food chain’ of the universe.
Having reviewed them, the clinical psychologist said he was convinced they reveal a government ‘cover-up’ about the truth behind UFO sightings.
He said government agents had treated President Trump like a ‘temp employee’ and had not shared their full knowledge with him.
“That infuriates me,” he said.
“How dare they do that? I don’t think that’s right and I think we deserve better.”
He said he was concerned about the moral and psychological impact of releasing information about UFOs to the public which could prompt everything from spiritual crises to doomsday scams.
“I think it needs to be provided with context and I think that the American public is prepared to handle that,” he said.
“I think we as a government need to be prepared to help those that have a difficult time with it.”
Dr Phil, an ally of the president and member of the administration’s religious liberty committee, said he believed he was approached because of his ‘independence’.
“They’re not scripting me. They’re not telling me what to say and not say,” he added.
Under Trump’s administration, the US government has released four tranches of UFO material.
The files, pulled from agencies including the Pentagon, NASA and CIA, detail incidents going back decades.
They included mysterious sightings from the Apollo astronauts on the Moon to a 2025 encounter in which a military sensor tracked ‘an area of contrast resembling a six-pointed star’ over the Yellow Sea near China.
The latest release revealed defence chiefs are probing claims US Navy vessels were buzzed by 100 UFOs.
Experts in the Pentagon’s All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office – set up to investigate sightings – are examining US Navy reports involving mysterious airborne objects and watercraft recorded operating off the coast of Virginia.
Officials are said to be ‘actively investigating this event’.
UFO researchers have claimed X-File releases so far have not added up to full disclosure.
Donald R Schmitt, an investigator at Roswell, New Mexico’s International UFO Museum and Research Center, said: “It’s nothing new.
“It’s the same game that they have played all these years. Once again, we’re getting the carrot dangled in front of us.”
