Horror as 5 infants present in cardboard packing containers at French couple’s house

The remains of five infants have been discovered at a couple’s home, according to local media reports. Investigators uncovered the bodies in cardboard containers at a property in Orange, a town in the Vaucluse department, in south-east France according to multiple sources quoted by French publication Le Parisien on Tuesday morning.
A source close to the inquiry told the newspaper the discovery followed after the woman, born in 1994, delivered her third child in hospital on Monday evening, after a third occurrence of what it described as “pregnancy denial”.
For reasons that remain unexplained, the hospital in Orange reportedly contacted authorities.
The woman’s partner, who was absent when she went to the hospital, chose to examine boxes in their residence following a dispute about their contents. It was then that he allegedly found a decomposing corpse, reports the Mirror.
The partner then allegedly transported the body to the hospital, where medical staff contacted authorities.
Officers searched the couple’s residence and found foetuses in plastic bags, which had been stored in cardboard containers.
The pair already has two children, aged eight and 12, the newspaper reports. It is understood the woman remains in hospital and has not been arrested.
