Manchester United are drawing nearer to the beginning of the new campaign as the transfer window rolls on. Michael Carrick’s side have wrapped up several fresh signings as the boss looks to bolster his squad.

Youri Tielemans and Andrey Santos have been pivotal to United’s midfield overhaul after Casemiro’s switch to Inter Miami. Keeper Karl Darlow has also put pen to paper, alongside Kit Margetson and Tynan Thompson.

United have been linked with potential swoops for Arsenal’s Myles Lewis-Skelly and Newcastle defender Lewis Hall. Marcus Rashford’s destiny remains a topic of conjecture following Barcelona’s choice not to sign him permanently.

Turkish giants Fenerbahce have allegedly established contact regarding a possible swoop for Marcus Rashford. The 28-year-old confronts an uncertain future at United following Barcelona’s decision not to trigger their £26m clause.

The Sun reports that Fenerbahce are prepared to “break the bank” for Rashford should the England international be receptive to joining the Turkish side, reports the Manchester Evening News.

It’s understood that Fenerbahce have contacted Rashford’s representatives to gauge his appetite for making the move. Rashford managed 14 goals and 14 assists for Barcelona last season.

Bayern Munich have retained their interest in United striker Benjamin Sesko. The German club previously considered a swoop for the forward and continue to view the 23-year-old as potentially featuring in the club’s long-term plans.

CFBayern Insider suggests that Sesko continues to be a “very interesting” prospect. Harry Kane leads Bayern’s line, but it’s suggested that he could take on a more withdrawn role in the future, making space for another central striker.

Bayern have recruited Ismael Saibari from PSV Eindhoven, reducing the urgency to bring in another new forward. However, the report indicates that Sesko remains on Bayern’s list of potential recruits.
